EVERYBODY ROW, EVERYBODY ROW...love this Man's wisdom and after seeing him in 1999, he is a terrific showman, personable, playful, has all sorts of strange and sometimes old fashioned instruments...the audience was singing along on the chorus to "Innocent When You Dream", so loudly, that he had us repeat it 7 times...he liked it that much. I spoke with his audio engineer after the show--she said he didn't do that very often...made me proud to please him! I honor this man's musical, poetic gifts

I like leaving it up to the viewer 2 interpret but I made the guy to be Charon the barge master of the river styx, difference is he walks around barding away the lives of those he will later guide, it is said according to Dante and Virgil and Homer that in a part of the river stix if i remember reading the stories right, dead peopl recall their life's deeds before entering the underworld and starts to forget everything n everyone, sorry for the long reply.

Yes, in Dante they have to recall their life's deeds in front of Minosse, the infernal judge but they can still remember when they are in hell. In Virgil and Homer they forget theyre past and the people they loved in life.
