2nd part: But be very careful with informations also from serious institutes. Old dances have the bad manner to have more than one name, even in the same area, and there is a huge gap of knowledge ! Nearly nothing is surely known, and I for myself get again and again new discoveries, especially here at YouTube - which even lead to attributions to distinct composers ! There is indeed much work to be done, and it is even possible, that the "Fishertanz" was only adopted and comes from abroad !!
Ok I consulted the historic of this dance and there is this name too in there. I thank you for telling us such precise information, and I´ll repass for the rest of the dance group. If you wanna know more about our work you should visit our community in orkut called Blumenberg Volkstanz.
No, the dance was first published on records in a self-edition, then again by the CALIG-Verlag. The record has the title "Tänze aus Ost- und Westpreussen" and has the same recordings. "Fischertanz" is only the subtitle, given in brackets to demonstrate that this dance was danced by the fishermen (and -women) in the villages at the Baltic Sea, south of Königsberg. The area now belongs to the Russian Federation. The main title is ALLEMANDE from Natangen.
Sorry, but here in Brazil a research center of german folk called Casa de Gramado told us that the name of this music is Fishertanz. Now I don't know from here is it from in Germany but I can tell that it is a very serious research center, it wouldn't tell us a wrong information, you may be confused with another music or coreografy.

It´s the "Natanger Allemande" from the former German settlement area East Prussia, now divided into a Polish and a Russian part.
