how do i uninstall the theme of my laptop (i want it back to normal windows)

@nRuNz Just like you would any other application: first, you exit it, then you uninstall it from the Add/Remove or Programs and Features applet in the Control Panel.

@xlsnipelx, simply exit *all* Winstep Xtreme applications (NextSTART *and* WorkShelf) before trying to uninstall.

@JydenFraJylland Assuming you're running the latest version (10.3) you can either open WorkShelf Preferences, go to the Dock & Shelves tab and disable the Shelf there, or right click on the Shelf's left mini-tab -> Dock & Shelf Management -> Close Shelf.

The superbar is the thing that scrolls icons on top right? Cuz just a bit confused as Win 7's taskbar is now dubbed as a "superbar".

What does Win7 have to do with it? :-) The 'superbar' feature is just a VERY SMALL PART of Winstep Xtreme.

Then you are missing the point of Winstep Xtreme. :-) The superbar is just a very small part of it, as I said. There's another video about it which shows more about all it can do, check it out.

Either way, don't forget Winstep Xtreme is always work-in-progress. I'm sure stacks will make their way into it pretty soon (not to mention that you can already use Chris'n'Soft stand alone stack with it already).

This one on Vista, but it could well have been made on XP too - the only difference is that under XP window thumbnails are static instead of 'live'.

Winstep Xtreme should only be downloaded from the Winstep web site or reputable download sites.

Developed in VB5, with more than half the code being direct calls to the Windows API, of course. :-)

Thanks. The programming language used doesn't really matter, as long as it gets the job done, and does it fast. :-)

In this case it's actually a mix of VB with a touch of C++ here and there, the brunt work being done by a ton of calls to the Windows API (most of Windows is written in C++, as you probably know).

Not sure I understand your question...? Programs used where? Not in this video, for sure, as all it features is Winstep Xtreme.

You don't, sorry. Although Winstep Xtreme provides most of the functions found in the Win7 superbar, it is *not* the real Win7 superbar, so some of the features (like thumbnail control of WMP) are simply not available.
