  • I CANNOT wait until Christmas time at my school. People are gonna know what real songs are :)

  • Why is it so hard to get a half-dozen people together to sing Mythos Carols door to door?

  • omg "hmm mmm came to say" hahahhahahah! Awesome.....Now I have to get the guys to start a Chu.....I mean a Hmmm mmm game.

  • Woho :)

  • This song is a thing of beauty.

  • this one of many rely fucked up Christmas songs ever yet i enjoyed it some how

  • Aren't mi-gos fungi?

  • Yes, thats why they dont have a nervasystem.

  • No they are insect like creatures form the planet Yuggoth (Uranus), they have wings that allow them to fly interstellar places

  • Well, Yuggoth, isn't Uranus, it's Pluto, and and as they are not insects, they are not fungi either, in fact they are made of a substance unlike any other on Earth, they can't be photographed.

  • wings wouldn't REALLY help them though would they? I mean there is no air :)

I only played the P&P RPG Call of Cthulu, never read the books, to scared :P so im asking not being rethorical ^^

  • Oh, the whole concept is based on an old Physics notion that said that interstellar space was full of some fluid called ether. And let's remember they're made of some kind of substance that doesn't follow the usual laws of matter.

  • Back in ol' HP's day the Ether theory was on it's last legs, but not quite dead. In my CoC, Mi-go have advanced biotech and genetically engineered solar sail wings that work clumsily in an atmosphere. They aren't limited to one body-type either, their surgery allows them to have many, and they use advanced necromancy to avoid death, collapsing into a nanofungus raft and reconstituting later.

  • I thought of that. I suspect that Mi-go wings are actually solar sails.

  • I personally think that Mi-Go wings are only functional in atmosphere. How they manage transatmospheric travel is not made clear, though one fairly obvious solution would be to use ships. They do, after all, have a highly advanced technology, and rockets aren't all that difficult.

  • Well, the explanation given in the Chaosium RPGs is that the Mi-Go use their membranous wings (incidentally so do the Elder Things and Byakhee) to traverse the transplanetary aether.

  • Perfectly reasonable point Lady Deirdre. I'm sure the Mi-Go have better forms of vacuum propulsion than rockets too.

  • It's cute you're trying to use human logic to comprehed the Mi-Go.

    No really it is.

  • We're all fungi.

  • LOL this song is so fucking funny!!

    I can't stop laughin xDDDD

  • Ia! Ia! Shub-niggurath,the goat with a thousand young! Cthulhu ftagn! Yog-sothoth! Yuggoth! Nyarlothep, Azathoth!

  • what about cthulhu?

  • He is ftagn.

  • You worship a planet? And you forgot Yig

  • how do i put this on my mp3!!????

  • buy the CD at Lovecraft historical society

  • If you have a torrent client, the album can be found on The Pirate Bay.

  • If you have Firefox, installl DownloadHelper plug-in.

  • freddy with your brain so brain so bright, wont you scare some folks tonight O_o

  • Lovcraftians on psychedelics, i say yes.

  • This stuff is gold.

  • it would look better if you had made it with a picture of a Mi-GO

    anyway, i enjoy it

  • ah yes, "The Mi-go", i.e, the mold from yoggoth, also known as pluto. Mi-go are masters of surgical science. they worship yog-sothoth, cthulhu, maybe nyarlathotep, I'm not sure on that one... I'll have to look into it.

  • umm the mi-go (fungi from yuggoth) worship firstly Nyarlathotep and secondly Shub-Niggurath

  • thank you, I didnt know how to spell Shub-Niggurath.

  • Ya but religion isnt a very important thing to them its mainly surgery.

  • i think they venerate shub-niggurath first, then yog-sathoth, but i havent read the book in a while so i may be wrong

  • I was sure they primarily worshiped Shub-Niggurath. Most of the prayers in Whisperer in Darkness focussed on her, not Nyarlathotep.

  • Ya its cool how mi-go can remove peoples brains and bring them back to Pluto. They can also surgicaly alter there vocal cords so they can speak in human tongue.

  • yeah, and and alot of the times, thier wings are just implants. cool huh?

  • Sweet, Are the Mi-go born without wings because of a birth defect?

  • technically(I spell not good...), mi-go are fungi, so, well its hard to explane... um, I guess it all depends what function it serves in a colonie...

  • yer an idiot have you read whisper in the dark

  • duh! btw its the wisperer in the dark.

  • then you should know they dont have wing implants

  • Poor freddy

nice that it had a happy ending

  • This song is from A Shoggoth On The Roof -musical. I think publisher is H.P.Lovecraft historical society

  • Nah, it's from A Very Scary Solstice, I think. At any rate, it's not on a Shoggoth on the Roof.

  • @aabeeceed actually, it's solstice carols.

  • Who sings these?
