Bumble bees are amazing creatures, i had one who lived in a hole on my deck, every year her babies returned to claim the nest, this went on for over 10 years. Basically i seen 10 or more generations of the same bee family. She would sit in the hole with her head poking out, i suppose to watch for intruders idk. Science can't explain why they can fly, it goes against the laws of physics, on top of that she always had TONS of pollen gathered onto her legs. Imagine 50 pound weights on your legs.
