In other words, to quote Saint Augustine. Anandamayi perceived this essence, the core of our being.

Her utterences were of such a mystical nature that few understood Her,

yet, the radiance of her love captured their hearts...willing to accept Her

I love this video of Anandamayi 1886-1982). Known for her beauty and enlightenment she captured the soul of India. Thousands gathered simply to get a glismpe of her. Yet, she stood in their mist as if she was all alone. "Who are you?' She was oftened asked, "I am who ever you concieve me to be,' she would say, adding "I am the same. From the time I was a child, the ever present light of eternity sparkled before my eyes, and sparkles still. God is everywhere and in everything."
