@Takerfanatic93 Height advantage is useless without the skill to use it, it can even work against you. If you think Schilt is unskilled, it says more about you than about Schilt.

Fighting reach advantage is actually tough. My worst fight, I had almost 20 centimetres height advantage on the other guy. I barely made it out of the first round before going down and broke my nose in the process.

Turned out he was being fasttracked to being a pro, and reach advantage just didn't scare him one bit.

Man, after taking a second look, this fight may not be as one-sided as I thought. 2008, Aerts laid down the blueprint on how to beat Schilt, by pushing the action and making his long reach work against him. In Showtime, Badr took that blueprint to the next level, love him or hate him, and made Semmy look human. Flawless job. The question is, does JLB still have what it takes to 1) Take the center of the ring from the bigger man, 2) get inside, & 3) force some downs? May be a problem w/1&2.

True. And this is what annoys me about about Remmy, he does have the skill and technique, but is generally not agressive enough. But man, back to LeBanner. You gotta love the guy, hes done so much for K1 over the years, hes a true fighter. Not the most skilled or talented, but great for the sport, and always positive. I just love the guys heart, and determination. He shows up, does his thing, K1 make a truck load of cash off his name, then on to the next tournament. The guys a legend in my book.
