@Penfold8 It's an epson, probably stylus printer. Important part is the pigmented ink (DureBrite). He also removed the back, so he could insert the "paper" straight.
Instead of shaking the ferric cloride solution (3:30), lay the board -- carefully -- over the solution so as to keep it floating, but upside down. The dissolved copper is heavier and SINKS. For the ink the more stable liquid is also better. You will have it dissolved very quickly in minutes.
If your board is too dense it won't sink and you should then use a holder/bracket.
@intterror Isso teria alguma importância naquelas trilhas beeeeeem fininhas de sinal de alta frequência e tal, mas pra esse tipo de trabalho, com as trilhas dessa largura, é indiferente, só só alguns µm a menos.
Ok i have r220 and i still couldnt find out where to lift the printer head AND how to work around the a** hole photo sensor which is always bitching that there is no paper or paper is stuck!!!! If some one can help me with this I would be grateful!
It is not a ordinary ink-jet cartridge. But indeed the Epson ink jet printers do work. All that is needed is a needle and a empty cart to fill with ink.
Take a look at the Epson CD printers on the left to see other models do this work.
Cum Dracu faci sa treaca, cartusele peste placuta si ce cerneala ai in ele de se lipeste de cupru, si cum faci sa reziste la cloruraFe ca io am incercat si se dizolva..
I recently modified an epson stylus color 670 so that it would accept the copper board but no matter what I can't make it to print properly, the ink just gets diffused.
I've tried heating / color changing / sanding / acetone and more but the ink just keeps "melting"..
I think my problem is the ink that this cartridges use..
What kind of ink are you uysing?
Is there any "permanent ink" (as in the permanent sharpies) available to prevent this?
as it is called the program you used to draw the pcb?

I've invented a PCB printer which does all the job itself. You don't need all that mixing and ironing, etc.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is not an ordinary ink-jet printer. The ink will never stick on the cooper side, no mather what you would try.
In order to succed you MUST USE A LASER PRINTER.
For those with less experience i would recomend the 'press-and-peel' tehnique.
