I'm glad you liked the fly...I tyed this fly for a friend that liked nothing better than fishing on the roughest day in the middle of an Irish or Scottish loch pulling this fly through the rolling waves on a cast with one or two other flies and I would say this one would suit the top dropper, hoping and waiting for a large trout to grab a hold of it...
Those Irish fish sure do like fancy flies. I am learning to like the Irish Style, very artistic! Another great fly, I will try this one out some time this summer. Thanks for the education.
hi davie another cracker i dont see blue hackles used much for the brownies accept in bumbles lovely tone in colours how does it fish for sea trout id say it could be a secret weapon in donegal it has all the ingredients....great videos my flytying has certainly improved with your help thanks a lot tight lines
whot a fly davie, you just keep on producing the goods, but a great irish fly, will try that one on the loughs over here next season, happy wrappings, davy.
Fantastic Davie loved watching it. I need a bit more practice before I tackle that one. I got your message about the mic's will answer soon as I can my pleasure
Another great one. I can just imagine this being pulled through the waves of my local hill loughs. Id say in Fiery Brown and olive shades it would be great also.
Sir Davie of the fly tying world,My hero grins i want to know if your fly tying space is as (tidy up) as your fly tying , many thanks the best to you from the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina USA

You'd be laughed off most western US fisheries I frequent for that overdressed beasty, but I'd fish it anywhere!
Gorgeous tie, Davie, all the best, sir!

Hi Sir walkoabout from the Smokey Mountains,
Most times my desk is tidy but when I'm messing around with materials then it's as messy as many a kids room..
All the best Davie

I'm amazed at how many flys have a wooly worm/bugger for a body. Another awesome pattern, and a great tie.
