I agree, but Batman Beyond isn't a light-hearted, campy show. Batman Beyond is a serious, Batman: The Animated Series-tier dramatic series. Thus I think the more serious title suits it well. If it was a light-hearted cartoon along the lines of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, then Batman of the Future would've probably been a better title.

Besides, if Bruce had regained his confidence enough to let a teenager take over the role of Batman, he probably wouldn't have much trouble trusting an adult Batman to have a Robin side kick again. During the series original run, Max would have been too young, but by the time of the JLU epilogue, I'm sure he would have been old enough.

@Aoitetsugakusha The point of Batman Beyond is to start fresh. No Robins,Nightwings,Catwomen. Either way Terry would never alow anyone to be Robin. Because of Bruce's obsessivness he pushed everyone away and Terry refuses to do that to anyone else.

@Spulpacz - They did plan to do a Beyond movie before giving Nolan his run. I'd love to see this done in live action but after hearing Clint Eastwood isn't doing acting anymore my old Bruce Wayne pick is out the window

it's about FUCKING time someone did this to such an incredible theme song...in one sense it was wasted becuase the show didnt last long, but i'm so glad I got to hear it and it didnt get pushed aside..I'd love to see it used in a bigger action sequence in a hollywood blockbuster..
