Until I heard this, I always thought Edie Gorme's was the best cover of this song, but Los Lobos proved yet again that they are simply the best. Rock, cumbias, balleros, R&B, they do it all.

@JamieLMacD Thank you for clearing that up for me. His voice is so great, I listen to this song over and over. I first heard it when I lived in L.A. I never knew which person was singing. I just loved it. I think the group is great. So much like the guys I grew up with in LA. Nothing pretentious about them, just homeboys wearing shades, slicked back hair, stingy brim hat and sounding like no one else.
