i am trying to upload a video but it wont work, every time it says "failed...." and i dont know how to get visual hub to convert the video to a different format...im just super confused with what to do.

hey i have a video in 3gp format . When i click it to import in iMovie it doesnt appear under the videos area. i dont know why. When i convert it to flv format , its not even import-able. HELP pls.

dude your a legend saved my macbook going through the window lol, got a question though my battery aint charging iv bought a new one and thats saying the same the instructions that came with it are sayin " if the capacity is low in current, CPU will be in electricity saving model and battery can not be charged. in that case, take off battery and fit on to the rouse the CPU, the battery can be charged then. iv got a macbook pro penryn plz plz help if u can thanks nathan241087

You know what bothers me alot ? I have a file that is .wmv, iMovie wont accept it and i NEED to get iMovie to accept it.

Yeah it's the same. iSquint is another program that is good for conversion and MPEG streamclip

this may be irrelevant but i have snapz pro for my imac. i have the full version (the one that is registered). it's a screen capture tool. i make my video with it and import it to imovie 08'. NO PROBLEM!! BUT when i put it on youtube, only the snapz pro shots just appear black. what is going on???????????? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Good God.. I've never run into that.. All I can think is it might be an iMovie 08 issue.. I've heard a lot of issues with that version and I use 06 myself. Going backwards was a better choice for me since 06 also has the effects that for some stupid reason was taken out of 08. Wish I could be of more help..

Hey i have a question

i made a movie for school and they only have apple macs at school , and at home we only have windows pcs , i made my movie on windows movie maker and i need to play it on the apple macs , how can i do this? i transfered it to school on my flash drive , but i dont know what program to run it on , i have saved it as the wmv format but and i have tried running it as quick time at school but was unsucsessful .. any answers?? (its proberbly really obvious but im just dum lol)

Hmm try downloading MPEG streamclip and converting with that to another format. Maybe see if Quicktime will open them and if it does save it as a .mov and you should be fine.

Pray. :) I'm just kidding of course.. Most PC users export using Windows Movie Maker (AKA Windows Movie Breaker) but how specifically they do this I have no idea.

so true it freezes ALL the time!! ive had PC's all my life and just got a mac. i think there good in there own ways but mac definently blows windows movie maker out of the water with imovie.

the only other problem ive had with it is when i load in transitions they arnt showing up. ive mailed u the full details tho.

No you can't. But the good news is it comes free with any Macintosh computer. The updates for it can be downloaded from the Apple site or via "software update".

Funnily enough, this program could be really useful if I can use it to convert quicktime stuff to mpeg as I have some footage that MovieMaker doesn't like.
