I went to Munich for a week in June as part of an exchange program. Our youth hostel was a straight line, a few blocks away from Marienplatz. There were still sales with price reductions of undefined percentages.

Also, it's so cool to watch this video and recognize places in the background.

The person in the video (John) is Hank's brother. They started making video blogs to each other on Jan 1st 2007, and have continued ever since, despite it originally being a 1 year project. Normally it's only them who add videos, but when John had to be away for a week or so, an author friend of his (Maureen Johnson) made videos instead. That's basically it.
