They might not be perfect, but used cymbals to me are the way to go sometimes. I bought a 20 inch Paiste signature china cymbal for 60 dollars at the music store, and it sounds great. So those of you who can't spend too much, try looking at used quality cymbals.
check out Dream cymbals and Stagg's new cymbals, so cheap, yet soo good. check out my videos for a taste of a dream 18" crash. Unbelievable value at 100 bucks
just got the 15'' dark energy hats, i love 'em. i still have to try them out with my bands but i am very positive about them! thanks jared for pursuading me to get these hats haha ;)
i think i'm gonna get the 15'' dark energy hihats too, there's a pair for €400,- here, amazing sounding hats! I'm kinda nervous about the size though, even though you had that too and love them now
Oh ya signatures are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up at the top of Paiste's products. I have a few 2002 series crashes and an 18" china. Beautiful cymbals, but the only other possible way to make me love Paiste even more is if they dropped their price tag by a few hundred dollars :D
@KHfan4ever23 B8s are nothing to spit at, they are pretty good sounding cymbals with their cheap price, I mean there are better ones out there. I might switch to AAX or A Custom the next time I replace my cymbals, which might be quite a while
cool cymbals jared, the ones i have are a mixed bag i have a 20"pearl ride and 16" crash, and 16" paiste crash and 14" 302 paiste hi hats but no splash cymbals yet..but will add more in the coming weeks.
Hey Jared, have u ever tried the sabian legacy or evolution? Those 2 and these paiste are what I'm looking at. I'm looking for 2 crashes a 16"or17" and a 18". I play rock and gospel. Let me know what you think about these 3 diff cymbals, thnx
@jaredfalk Oh, I see. I thought you had some kind of aversion against china cymbals. But it's nice to know that even the guys with the dw sets aren't always billionaires ;)
those symbals are AMAZING! but ive heard better high-hats but its all a matter of taste, i like the closed sound but i would rather play with a more powerfull open sound, but yet again its all about genre, that highhat is perfect for everything exept hevy music. My audio system is bad on my computer so i cant tell,,,,are these the same you used in the rock drumming system?
@aczeppelindc2908 The Rock Drumming System had different cymbals on it. These are only a year old and that was filmed before that. It's all preference...I know not everyone who's played those hi-hats have loved them but I do :)
Hey everyone! Please leave your questions and comments below. I would love to hear your thoughts on these cymbals and other cymbals that you've all tried. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it SO much! - Jared Falk

I use the Sabian B8 series. I have the following cymbals:
10" Splash
14" Hi-hats
14" Thin Crash
16" Thin Crash
18" Thin Crash
20" Ride
And I might get a Sabian B8 China soon

@KDWorldBrickPix I will say that they are better than any low-end Zildjian cymbal I ever had. Everyone of those cracked in less than a year.

danielphilpot 7 months ago
Jared, please do not take this as a trolling question:
All (or al least most of) your cymbals are Paiste, right?
So why don't you talk to Paiste so as to get endorsed by them?
You reach out to so many drummers in the YouTube community...
Oh, by the way, you've got the best job in the world.
diegochangos 8 months ago
@diegochangos he did, and i think he got the endorsement some weeks ago. this vid was made very long ago :P
