  • 4 crashs no china... Good man!

  • They might not be perfect, but used cymbals to me are the way to go sometimes. I bought a 20 inch Paiste signature china cymbal for 60 dollars at the music store, and it sounds great. So those of you who can't spend too much, try looking at used quality cymbals.

  • i wish i had your drum kit, but drum stuff just costs to much

and i am 13 sooo no job it sucks

  • I'm aiming for TRX but Paiste is great, 2nd to TRX but they are great. Every single Paiste Cymbal I've heard was good.

  • check out Dream cymbals and Stagg's new cymbals, so cheap, yet soo good. check out my videos for a taste of a dream 18" crash. Unbelievable value at 100 bucks

  • im usually into sabian, but these crashes are so full sounding, love em

  • Your faces when you play are amazing, thank you.

  • do you get payed to use the word phenominal?

  • Love the sound of your drumkit

  • the question is, why arnt you endorsed? someone as good as you shouldent have to pay for your cymbals

  • Do a video on what type of drums sticks you should use, or what you recommend please

  • hey jared.. hows you doing?

i love your video.. i love your lessons.. I love everything you are doing for the drumming world....

But one thing i wanted to tell you is that Paiste is pronounced as 'Pee-Stee' :) :)

  • @udeeksh no its PIE STEE

  • Just went on the Paiste website, guess who I found...

  • just got the 15'' dark energy hats, i love 'em. i still have to try them out with my bands but i am very positive about them! thanks jared for pursuading me to get these hats haha ;)

  • i think i'm gonna get the 15'' dark energy hihats too, there's a pair for €400,- here, amazing sounding hats! I'm kinda nervous about the size though, even though you had that too and love them now

  • who els here think paiste cymbals are so much better than Sabian or Zildjian?

  • YOU ALWAYS wear black shirt

  • Make one video about your Mics and interface! Thanks.

  • I'm on a Boat shirt ftw.

  • Oh ya signatures are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up at the top of Paiste's products. I have a few 2002 series crashes and an 18" china. Beautiful cymbals, but the only other possible way to make me love Paiste even more is if they dropped their price tag by a few hundred dollars :D

  • Jared you said we wouldn't find you in the Paiste webpage, but you know what, I was checking their website and I was shocked to find you there.

  • I use the Sabian B8 series. I have the following cymbals:

    10" Splash

    14" Hi-hats

    14" Thin Crash

    16" Thin Crash

    18" Thin Crash

    20" Ride

And I might get a Sabian B8 China soon

  • @KDWorldBrickPix sabian rule

  • @KDWorldBrickPix B8 cymbals suck

  • @KHfan4ever23 B8s are nothing to spit at, they are pretty good sounding cymbals with their cheap price, I mean there are better ones out there. I might switch to AAX or A Custom the next time I replace my cymbals, which might be quite a while

  • @KDWorldBrickPix I will say that they are better than any low-end Zildjian cymbal I ever had. Everyone of those cracked in less than a year.

  • Your setup sounds incredible

  • i play alot of hard rock and metal how long do you think those cymbals would last

  • Jared, please do not take this as a trolling question:

All (or al least most of) your cymbals are Paiste, right?

So why don't you talk to Paiste so as to get endorsed by them?

You reach out to so many drummers in the YouTube community...

Oh, by the way, you've got the best job in the world.

  • @diegochangos he did, and i think he got the endorsement some weeks ago. this vid was made very long ago :P

  • Hey, eh i was lookin for that 21" full ride you got but i could only find 20" and 22". Could you give me any tips on where to find the 21"?

  • I use

    20" zildjian zbt ride

    16" zildjian zbt crash

    14" zildjian zbt crash

13" paiste alpha sound edge hihats And

    14" agazarian china

  • you know, you NEEd to try Murat Diril cymbals!! they are awesome!!!!

  • SOunds Amaaazing

  • hey jared fantastic, youre a great one.

  • Lovin' the Paistes. I have 2002's myself. Couldn't afford signatures. =\

  • woops! the "medium" crashes are actually studio crashes!

i mixed them up with my previous set lol

  • oh wow id love those cymbals!!

    right now im using:

14" SABIAN AA metal-x hi hats

    10" SABIAN AAX ozone splash

    16" SABIAN AAX medium crash

    18" SABIAN AAX medium crash

    21" SABIAN AA dry ride

    its an awesome set!

  • cool cymbals jared, the ones i have are a mixed bag i have a 20"pearl ride and 16" crash, and 16" paiste crash and 14" 302 paiste hi hats but no splash cymbals yet..but will add more in the coming weeks.

  • I love those Paitses

  • Hey Jared, have u ever tried the sabian legacy or evolution? Those 2 and these paiste are what I'm looking at. I'm looking for 2 crashes a 16"or17" and a 18". I play rock and gospel. Let me know what you think about these 3 diff cymbals, thnx

  • That's like...the perfect setup :O

  • I would give my left nut for that set. lol.

  • Hey Jared, what microphone are you using to talk into? Thanks Ben

  • paiste 4 ever !!!!

    the best !!!!!!

  • Four crashes, two splashes and no china? WHAT?

  • @LaughingOutKraut That's next on the list. The cymbals are just so dang expensive. I have to save up so long to buy them.

  • @jaredfalk Oh, I see. I thought you had some kind of aversion against china cymbals. But it's nice to know that even the guys with the dw sets aren't always billionaires ;)

  • While the Paiste Signature line is great sounding, I prefer the Sabian HHX line. :)

  • hey jared, what does the weight of a cymbal matter for the sound?

  • @allmetaliswelcome Yes, that matters.

  • awesome! i love to drum and would love some really professional sounding cymbals but I have a budget unfortunately.

  • I have a question:

Can I have your drum set?? :)

  • @PasseCominToYou HAH! no sorry this is my dream kit :)

  • @jaredfalk Just thought I'd try haha

  • those symbals are AMAZING! but ive heard better high-hats but its all a matter of taste, i like the closed sound but i would rather play with a more powerfull open sound, but yet again its all about genre, that highhat is perfect for everything exept hevy music. My audio system is bad on my computer so i cant tell,,,,are these the same you used in the rock drumming system?

  • @aczeppelindc2908 The Rock Drumming System had different cymbals on it. These are only a year old and that was filmed before that. It's all preference...I know not everyone who's played those hi-hats have loved them but I do :)

  • Hey everyone! Please leave your questions and comments below. I would love to hear your thoughts on these cymbals and other cymbals that you've all tried. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it SO much! - Jared Falk
