Seeing this clip brings back plenty of memories of gathering, with the rest of my class, in the TV room at Butcombe House (Clifton College, Bristol, UK) in the 1989/90 school year and seeing this sequence before the programme we were going to watch. Now, in 2009 and at the age of 26 I may be long past those school days. But I remember the rotating ITV cube and clock as if it was yesterday. And the music never went out of my head either! Thanks for posting this clip, ARTF!

used to be a website where they showed how they did the itv logo to clock changeover.... apparantly the tecnhology used was way ahead of its time..
