Tips for Navigating the VA Claims Process

I am a Veteran of Foreign Wars 3 times over. As an Infantryman, I was injured in the line of duty. During my disability evaluation from the VA, the doctor asked me to, with out being my knees, bend over as far as I can. I did so. Then he came over to me, and started pushing down on my back while I was moaning in pain and telling him to stop. Later, I found out that my rating was based on how far I could bend over. The real terrorist is on American soil. If I see him again, it's curtains.

I am an 80% Disabled VietNam Veteran and i have been navigating The VA System for 40 years. The VA Regional Office in Portland, Oregon is The Worst. It took almost 5 years to get service connected for medical problems relating to my service in The US Navy, Portland denied me but The BVA approved me. Now i have submitted 3 knew claims which two i am asking for an increase and two are knew and its been over TWO years and is still not completed. This is not acceptable. I am tired of it all.

I was told the VA turn around for processsing claims was average 18 months. WTF 18 months. Give these american heros what is deserved to them

What a crock of shit! I have had so much proof of my claim and the VA just comes back with more bullshit to try to deny me. I can barely walk anymore after 3 spinal surgeries by the VA on a service connected injury and all I have seen by the VA is more denials and heartbreak. I sure hope you rating specialists for the VA get your bonuses and sleep good at night.
