  • you know se is "the one" when she says, honey let's hear some zeppelin music, and starts singing this in (sexy) whispers in your ears... fuckkkkken epic!

  • @silenthilesco *she, my bad

  • My favorite (however difficult a statement that may be to utter) Zep song. But can anybody please, please tell me the time signature on it?!

  • @MiMiN91 4/4 with a 3/8 shift in the turnaround.

  • I am megadeth fan , but i prefer this original version on that cover. :)

  • i wonder where the person who posted the VINYL versions of these songs and his channel are? it had the same type of graphic like you do.

  • This song is, has always been, and will always be my favorite Led Zeppelin song. I don't know why, it just charms me.

  • led zepplin forever

  • "Stop". They did their recording extemporaneously!

  • "stop" 1:29

  • Listen carefully... on the left channel at the 1:29 mark, someone says "stop!" (probably Jimmy, to keep the timing during the riff...

  • @marcmorgado I actually think it was one of the producers trying to stop them, but Jimmy Page told him to fuck off.

  • i have LED poisoning

  • Led Zeppelin Greatest Rock Band Ever!!!!!!!!!!

  • the stereo in my car is just over 1 killowatt rms this song (specifically bonham i think) is responsable for destroying a set of £300 components but it just isnt possible to turn it down lol

  • JPJ's bass rumbles like a f'n Mack truck on this track.

  • Love it love it love it!!!

  • Zep put out a handful of songs that we're no-frill rock-funk boogie at it's best.

    This is one.

  • I will listen to LZ till the day that I die

  • sun tzu book of lord shang."the general who does not understand the advantages of the nine variable factores will not be able to use the ground to his advantage even though familair with it. The Art Of War.

  • Anyone noticed the beginning is the same as Black Dog on How The West Was Won

  • @lang61510 For the 73 tour, Page opened Black Dog with “Bring It On Home”, for the 75 tour, he opened it up with “Out On The Tiles”.

  • @PBANDSNOW For every tour other than 73' He used Out On tiles riff.

  • Comment removed

  • @lang61510 yup and on the bbc sessions i only recently realized the intro was from this lol

  • @lang61510 yes, and on "BBC Sessions" as well. They used to play a piece of other songs to introduce Black Dog. On Madison Square Garden 1973 concerts, released on "The Song Remains The Same", they played "Bring It On Home" as the intro. Check it out: /watch?v=eVt6YqRzRjA

  • @lang61510 They purposely did that in some live shows, started off Black Dog, with this song.:))

  • @lang61510 WTF! Unless you can explain it... your comment is musically incompetent!

  • @lang61510 Was one of the best fake outs ever

  • @lang61510 yes, black dog begin like this in every live! :D

  • this song stabs all the beatles in the chest. the ending was i mean there is no words im going to try. Jefat, i think thats close

  • @edf81 The beatles stand alone in the anals of history nothing comes close... nothing.

  • and WHY the hell is smoke on the water more well known than this????

  • @DonTheTurtleDude Because if you can play the tabs to this song with 80% proficiency on an acoustic guitar at any sorority house in any College Town, USA, you are almost guaranteed sex with a heterosexual female for that evening. Throw in a wing-man who is a at least a mid-tempo crooner, and remember to repeat....always repeat. Our forefathers of Led Zeppelin were looking out for future generations without letting this get as stale and overplayed as Deep Purple licks. Send them a thank-you note.

  • Love the led, started listening to rival sons and they sound great but im not impressed by their blatant riff and sound theft from zeppelin. No one can touch led zeppelin

  • unfortunately there are no more rock rifts, jimmy page wrote them all.

  • This song sounds so heavy when they played live

  • This reminds me of sittin' in my basement with good friends tokin' it up back in the day. Zeppelin so reminds me of my youth. I feel sad for the young generations of today. All they will have to look back on are people like dare I say Snooki? WTF is a Snooki? GTFO you talentless turd.

  • @TheInflikted1

lol. I agree, Led Zeppelin is legendary, snooki is a skin condition I think?

  • I love led zeppelin III

  • esta cancion es los 70'S

  • Always good!

  • bonzo is amazing on this one. well, OK, he's amazing on all the others as well.

  • Best band every!

  • @schmidt0 for SURE......

  • Bonzo!!!!!

  • One of the best Zeppelin songs, why so underrated?

  • @TheKassicRock

the term 'underrated' means this one's not given the credit it actually deserves. Songs like Kashmir, Stairway and Immigrant Song are known by everyone who knows Zeppelin , Out On The Tiles is not.

Hope I didn't mistake your comment.

  • @TheKassicRock maybe because they have a lot of much better songs?

  • @Luxmaxnike No, this is amazingg...

  • @TheKassicRock Because their are just so many songs to choose from this band :)

  • Hey Moe? e

  • zo/so

  • Pure Zep!

  • Led.Zepp.

  • rival sons

  • my friends 13 yr old nails this on drums

  • What idiot -1'd this video... ? really man, just die or something

  • @BroSlims31

The where big..the will be AGAIN *

  • @GrimJoeReaper come on... you stereotypical condescending youtuber looking for a chance to correct someone, obviously he knew that, but did you know you spelled "were" * wrong? Oh yeah, and "they". *

  • @GrimJoeReaper Hell yeah

  • ooooooooooooooooooooo yeah

  • ツェッペリンⅢ~震えが止まらぬA面ラストのプラント咆哮!"OUT ON THE TILES"留まらぬボーナムのドラムとペイジの弾き~激曲!

  • who's the crazy finger down here ????!!!!!

  • rival sons

  • This band is one of my favorites bands. They have so many bests song, that it's hard to chose. This song isn't the best but...

  • john bohnam wrote this song

  • @LedZepfan36minpa not exactly

  • May I recommend the book 'An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s' by Johnny Zero. The author is a big fan of this track.

  • Dunno what it is about the drums on this song, but they drive me crazy in a good way.

  • one of their best ... but they have so many of bests

  • Ohh Yeah ohhh....Yeah.....AHHHHHHH Yeah Yeah!!!

  • STOP. scroll back UP dammit! you didn't come here to read shitty comments. you came here to listen to a rockin track. so light up, don't scroll down!

  • @SoAPyiLLuSiONn666 I wish i could vote this comment up to infinity....... YES

  • @SoAPyiLLuSiONn666 I can scroll, read, listen and toke at the same time, thank you very much.

  • Raky Maky, thanks for the lyrics, I,ve loved this song since i was about 8 and never knew some of the words. I'm almost 47 now, and I can now sing along! Thank you.

  • @iluv70s1 ..I would love this lyrics...Robert Plant reallt has strong english accent...I have listen to this song for 30 years and dont know what hes saying in certain parts of this song...please send the lyrics tahnks Brotha!!!

  • @drumanjan google it man! christ sake its not hard!

  • god dammit! is there a better song? Standing in the noonday sun, that shit slays me! anyone else? I love you

  • @1MichealVincent led Zeppelin were the yardbirds after clapton and beck broke off jimmy page was in the first yardbirds then robert plant and then john bohnam and john paul jones and then just changed there name to Led Zeppelin...

  • @BlackZeppelinn "Dazed and Confused" is easily their best song as long as you don't include the 20+ songs

that are much better. It is very popular on the radio, but it's not even on the same level as some of their classics.

  • @giantmidget08 Dazed & Confused Was Written By Jake Holmes, Led Zeppelin Stole The Song, Sad But True, Led Zeppelin Stole Alot Of Music.

  • @1MichaelVincent it is called a cover version

  • @1MichaelVincent Ya Maybe, but one thing is for sure, is they made the songs there own, they put there own genius into it. Remember alot of band's did this in the 70's The Stones, Humble Pie, Jimi Hendrix I could go on and on. It is always Zep who gets the rap for it though.

  • @1MichaelVincent why is that sad ? it sounds good doesnt it ? listen closer

  • @giantmidget08 Listen To The Real Song That Led Zeppelin Stole it From, Yardbirds song called "I'm Confused."

  • @1MichaelVincent you know the yardbirds broke up before this and guess who was the guitarist Jimmy page THE guitarist of this bang should I also teach you your ABC's

  • Can't qutie understand the way people argue over which is the 'best' Led Zep song; I think they're missing the point. A song is good if it speaks to you and echoes your own thoughts and feelings... there is no 'best'... unless you think you have only one 'best' thought or emotion? What makes Zep 'great' is that ALL of their songs (with the possible exception of 'The Crunge') speak to so many of us, so intimately!

Rock on Zeppelin! (and thanks to Raky Maky for posting 'em!)

    :)

  • @theseustoo wrong. the crunge is a sick song and shows that the band isnt confined to one or two time sigs. I guess you have to be a musician to appreciate that.

  • @YSEVERYNAMETAKENGOD That I don't like 'The Crunge' doesn't make me wrong, or you 'right'. It just means we have different tastes. I'm well aware that Zeppelin use more than one time signature; what I like most about Zep is their willingness to experiment ('The Crunge' was, IMHO, a less successful experiment). BTW, I AM a musician... or do you expect EVERY muso to think like you before you call them a musician? I suppose you have to understand logic to appreciate that.

    ;)

  • @theseustoo I agree, all Led Zeppelin songs speak to me. I do disagree on The Crunge though - I think that song, and the whole album, is awesome. Houses of the Holy is an epic album.

  • @BlackZeppelinn

I used to be convinced that "Since I've Been Loving You" was it. Now I can't decide between "The Song Remains the same" and "Trampled Underfoot". I've had probably 20 favorites over the years, and I guess that's the point. This band didn't make music that can be rated in any conventional way. And yeah, I've spent a year or two feeling that "Dazed and Confused" was the best song ever, too.

  • @JasonTheGuitarHero why the hell do dusebags like u keep bringing tha kid up??? STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • Every time i listen to this song i MUST airplay the guitar,i can't help it !!!

  • Oh man, truly sorry to Keith, one of the other incredible drummers that we've lost, RIP Keith, and Bonzo. thx (x341) for the info. Hope to hook up with both of them when like Jimi said when "I'll meet you on the other side, don't be late!" they have got to be having one hexx of a jam session, hope I'm not late!! lol.

  • If anyone was wondering, the phrase Out On The Tiles, refers to bar hopping.

  • @JohnGrant2011 Thank you, sir. You are the reason I read YouTube comments.

  • BroSlims31 comment, that's hilarious, yeh these guys just might make it ! haha, you ever hear the one where they said they yeh there gonna go over alright just like a led balloon, I bet that guy is still eating his words.

  • @Gonzo9245 lol keith moon said that

  • PLOW thats perfection!!!

  • this is awesome

  • One of their most Zeppelinesque songs.

  • These guys are gonna be big someday

  • @BroSlims31 was that sarcasm? i think that was sarcasm

  • @bassgroove21 I think it was irony.

  • @bassgroove21 was that humor? i think that was humor

  • @BroSlims31 ahahah yeah dude

  • @BroSlims31 They where big.

  • @BroSlims31 ...Dude you are so right these guys are gonna be huge some day....................

  • @BroSlims31 History lesson?

  • @TheGingester Was that guy being sarcastic or what?

  • @TheGingester Sarcasm lesson?

  • Comment removed

  • I think so 2 :)

  • @BroSlims31 What r u talking about Led Zeppelin was already HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! Ever since there first album debuted!

  • @hardflipmaster1

yes, it was clear when LZ 1 came out that there was a new power in the world, a new sound: harder than Cream live, and that was saying a lot

  • @SupernalOne that was saying A HELL OF ALOT cream were AWESOME live but zep just blew absolutely everybody off stage from day 1. its 1 reason they toured alone after a while

  • @BroSlims31 ... are you serious... they have been big for over 30 years...

  • uplifting

  • this song is perfect in every way

  • when giants walked the earth

  • Nothing can go wrong with Led Zeppelin!!!!!

  • May I recommend the book 'An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s' by Johnny Zero. The author is a big fan of this track and Led Zeppelin III.

  • Great one....starts like a Jeff Beck tune

  • Highly underrated Zeppelin song

  • Such a great song. The thing about Zep is, so many of their songs are played out for me. But whenever I hear something like this, something that hasn't been played to death on classic rock radio my entire life, I realize what a truly great band they were. I don't ever ever need to hear "Rock and Roll" or "Stairway" again in my life, but this KICKS ASS.

  • @MckyMseNTarotCrds I agree. That's the tragic thing about FM radio.... it can kill your tastes for your favorite bands fast. The great thing about Zep is they have plenty of gems in their library that weren't pissed on by lame repetitive rock stations. I'm glad this wasn't one of them.

  • @classiclistener01 i thought back the they costed round 5 dollars. But 25 cents??? I would have thousends of vinyl records!!

  • I can't help but move to this song!! Fucking great, Zeppelin at their finest.

  • MY CHOICE LZ s' BEST SONG- Just try to follow Bonzo and John Paul Jones on this tune unlike any of there other tunes, it flat rocks, and although Plant and Page got all the glitter, they are two of the best rythm players ever in the business, and still get the least amount of notariety for what they did 4 zeppelin

  • @Gonzo9245 Zep's best song is "Dazed & Confused'"

  • forget about it

  • all i needd is LED ZEPPELIN!!!!!!

  • Megadeth covered this song on their United Abominations album which is awesome

  • I grew up with this music. If it wasn't for Led Zeppelin, I wouldn't be playing guitar today.

  • i think its bonzo saying "stop"

  • thanks for that. been 30 years

  • It's the 5th track from studio album's in 1970.

  • this song is so fucking rock and roll

  • WOW !

  • led zeppelin

  • Best drummer all time! Miss you John mkay you rest in peace.

  • I remember buying this album, "Led Zeppelin III," for 25 cents, at a moldy-old greenhouse flea market in Connecticut way back in the late 1970s. It smelled like moldy filth, but, it played lovely!!! Now, it smells as sweetly as it plays - LOVELY!!! :)

  • @classiclistener01 25 cents???

  • @martin2sax - Yes. Only 25 cents; and, I still have it. There aren't very many flea markets left around where I live, but, when there were, used albums were plentiful and inexpensive.

  • Love the guitar

  • This song is so motherfucking underrated.

  • @zlHi my favorite zep tune

  • THE DRUMS IN THIS, ahh my god, so good

  • @colouredfreeways you're right... thee best!!

  • One of the first songs I ever learned on guitar.

  • Comment removed

  • @wellisaythat I would kill my mother to see Zeppelin live.

  • @TOSportsFan1990 She probably wouldn't be too mad at you. She'd get to meet John Bonham.

  • been listening to this song since about 1987 and had the III album and loved it especially that really trippy part you know what i mean.

about 6-7 yrs later i rediscovered this song and realized how amazing/ bad ass/ cool ass lyrics this song really had. I listened every day for... a while. the end jam of this song is Awesomeness.

    Led Zep Pwns.

  • @TheTvrulesthenation get the fuck out bitch.

  • @TheJoker2169 nice

  • @TheTvrulesthenation GTFO,hatin on the mighty zep

  • @TheTvrulesthenation But of course you click on this video to post your comment, saying that you wanted Rory Gallagher's "out on the Tiles" When you could have taken that time and clicked on the right video instead of this one.

  • This song is one of Zeppelin's most aggressive rock songs. The pounding drums, along with the guitar and bass riffs, make "Out on the Tiles" what it is: a masterpiece.

  • was the killing floor tiled?

  • can't....stop....hitting....repeat

  • Bonzo did more with one kick drum than most drummers do with 2...absolutely sick drumming on this tune.

  • @rowdymax1 Damn right. That guy laid down the best grooves.

  • bonhams lick on the second time of the main guitar riff is so cool. good drumming
