This is not anushtup. Do you know the meter?

The metre is "upajaati" or उपजाति. When the Indravajrā (four feet of 11 syllables with the sequence LLSLLSSLSLL) and the Upendravajrā (four feet of 11 syllables with the sequence SLSLLSSLSLL) metres are mixed in the same verse, the resultant metre is called Upajāti. Here S is short (laghu) and L is long (diirgha). A famous example is the following verse from Manasa.

At the beginning he is singing a shloka about origin of the Shiva Sutras (or Maheshwara Sutras) of Sanskrit Vyaakaran, followed by the Shiva Sutras themselves. On the Shiva Sutras which the whole Vedic and Sanskrit grammar is based, and hence in turn, everything from Dharmashaastra, Yoga, Sangeeta, Ayurveda, Darshana, and all.

That was sheer bliss. I never heard anybody blend Sanskrit Vyaakaran and Sangeet Shastra before. What a treat. Thanks for uploading.

I have been privileged to have known him since last about 36 years. I can testify that he should have got all the accolades he is getting today, all those 36 years back. I used to live with him night and day. He would sing all his special songs that sell like hot cakes these days, in those days too, but there were no takers. I am so glad he has got his due.

I would also like to inform his fans that only a very small fraction of his treasure has come out. May Panditji live long and release all.
