No sir, I don't see him as a threat to us in the States. If his economic system benefits Venezuelans, then that's all we should care about. Maybe they will lead the world by example, like what the States should've done all these years (instead of by force) but failed. I was a little saddened on what he mentioned about G. It's the other way around buddy. The U.S. depends on these countries to buy cheap oil. It outsources it's manufacturing & services requirements to 3rd world countries to cut costs. If corrupt U.S. companies didn't hire so many illegals, maybe less of them wouldn't cross the border?

US needs oil from venezuela and cheap labour from the rest of south america/mexico. none of those countries can stand up to the US. they dont have the economic power to do anything. so its nice to see a leader(chavez) use his power(oil), to stand up to the united states and not just be our bitch.
