Even though I'm sure a lot of people will, don't take this as a representation of all Americans. If you notice, there were a whole lot of people interviewed at the start of the video and fewer people placing pins on the map. That's because the people that weren't featured were the ones who noticed the map was wrong. In fact, I'm sure they approached a ton more people who game them educated opinions, but they selected against them because that wouldn't prove their point.

It's just that people from America, don't really take the time to study where other contries are. If I went up to a norman European and asked, "Where is New Hampshire on this map of the United States?" They would have no clue. No clue in hell.

They ranked the average I.Q. of about 100 countries using the same standardized test. The USA ranks about the same as all the European countries. Northern Asian countries rank the highest, and African countries rank the lowest.

By the way, I.Q. doesn't measure one's knowledge. A person can be smart yet ignorant. America's government-run schools suck, and don't help matters.

This is a bit misleading, because you think they are stupid and don't know where the other countries are. But at the :52 second mark you will see them do a close up the map, The guy was asked to put a pin on Iran, and when you look at the close up, the map has Australia labeled as Iran.

The people answering this could have been fooled into placing a pin into a labeled part of the map without being asked where the country really is.
