  • This is a "comfortable" video. =p

  • This video is a favorite on Philippines

  • ...resistance to the TERRORISM of North America F**K you abd good bye too!

  • I would be more impressed if the target was manoeuvring hard and didn't take ten seconds to burn a hole in a glass fibre and foam target and worked through cloud or the laser wasn't the size of a bus and weigh several tons .When they have worked that lot out I'll have one !

  • ♫ Amerrrcaaa....fuck yeah ♫

  • dear attackers please fly in a nice straight line so we can shoot you down ,thank you for your co-operation!!

  • @oohaahbird

Lasers = The speed of light. All they need is simple tracking software (which already exists) to keep this beam on target. They don't even have to give it a lead because .... well, the beam shoots at the speed of light.

  • I hope the military is ready to pay me for destroying my RC plane.

  • May the rsistance to the ilegal us invazions see this footage!

  • @sacopenapa Well it might help if you knew how to use proper english and or spanish.

  • @frostbite889

If you only spoke my language... you probably speak english only. In any case, F**K the USA!

  • @sacopenapa labhairt i mhac dúr tú ró-na hÉireann de asal

  • @frostbite889

Vai toma no olho do seu cu seu vidado sem vergonha!

  • @frostbite889 and I do hope the resistance have means to this technology and shoot lots of US drones down. I cheers for every single casualty the US and NATO TERRORISTS suffer!

  • @sacopenapa um what are you talking about what resistance? are you a conspericy theorist oh fuck i dont deal with wackos like you oodbye

  • @sacopenapa Lol yeah "the resistance having means to this technology", false hope there pal.

  • That wasn't the Navy shooting a laser at a drone. It was my 700 MegaWatt, time-warping FuckYou Laser shooting the lead UFO of an incoming extraterrestrial invasion.

You can all thank me for saving the world.

  • I only see a trail of smoke/fire... coming FROM that flying thing. Am I wrong ?

  • @ExperiencedGhost because you cant see light traveling to the drone

  • @ExperiencedGhost Stop hoping for star wars -.-

  • @ExperiencedGhost lololol if you turn on a lightbulb in a room, do you see the air light up, or just light reflecting off the walls?

  • @ExperiencedGhost That's all you would see. It's like a laser pointer, but much, much more powerful. You don't see the beam like in Star Trek.

  • What was the target vehicle???? looked like a wing...... Was it a drone????

  • @RuggedBrotha Nope. We shot down a fully manned 2 Billion dollar B2 Bomber. Ofcourse.

  • To all you people talking about mirrors. Mirrors are usually frequency-specific, one that reflects visible light will not necessarily reflect UV or infrared wavelengths, making them vulnerable to weapons that can easily change their beam wavelength. Also no mirror you can use as armor is able to deflect a beam 100%, and the mirror surface will absorbe a lot of energy (just point a laser pen at the mirror and se the dot on it. ) burning a hole in no time.

  • @IncendiaryFlux Well, you would probably not be able to see laser weapon beams in atmosphere either as the light most likely used is outside our eyes color ability.

  • what the fuck that was not a NUKE people, they wouldn't use NUKES in a fucking testing, didn't you see that was a DRONE, stop saying its a fucking NUKE

  • @cococlaudio123 actually, america has used several hundred nukes in various tests. many of them on our own soil.

  • @lebensraummetal mostly all near Area 51 as well.

  • Modern nukes don't fly straight, don't fly by one- they separate into multiple warheads with broken complicated trajectories in case of danger, and they do not fly this SLOW..

  • @volodyaltd this was not a nuke, didn't you see the name of the video, it said 'laser weapon shoots down DRONE in test' not 'laser weapon shoots down NUKE in test'

  • well looks like we do not have to worry about nukes hitting there target!

Just throw a laser and we will be saved ! Yippe!

  • @Gzxmodzz why are you getting so worked up XD that was just his opinon chill out

  • It just heats it up and melts everything such as wires aand the metalwings and stuff...not that techy...if u see things my way

  • Too bad UFO's don't exist:)

  • @TheGroovemaker1 Your fuckin' stupid.. A UFO doesn't mean a flying saucer.. A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object not necessarily a fuckin' alien spacecraft.. However, UFO's do exist.. Whether they're reverse engineered at Area 51 (Which is pretty likely with the known planes that have been announced coming from there as early as the 60's) or are actually alien made.. They exist.. You're just dumb if you think there's not different life forms then what's on Earth.

  • @GZxModzz Yes because stealth technology can't be man made...

  • @jpmac098 I never said it couldn't be.. It was man however, the same technology still stays hidden on the most sophisticated radars today.. So it's obviously very high tech, and it's still the same tech from the 60s. So yes, it could be.. However, it'd take a lot longer then it took.. We may not have even had it today if it weren't for Area51.

  • @bluedevil1642 us already have satalites that capable of shoting ufo`s

  • @carlogwapo1234 true

  • if russian and china got SAND U,S got Laser weapon and space satalite with high power laser!!!

  • Wow, didn't know they had lasers in the days of Charlie Chaplin style films.....

  • they couldn't have choosen a cheaper drone sheeeesh!

  • wow it flew under the wires in the foreground....that would make this craft approx 4 inches in diameter.

  • I like the laser weapons in star wars better, those make big booms!

  • Anyone knowtist how we never see there famous "laser weapon"?

  • the cold war continues on while we are still sittin clueless in our matrix like world

  • hahahah this is wat came up when i searched russia today (russian news)

  • UAV

  • i didnt see anything... was it the big light from the start of the video?

  • this is very early testing the "target" is making no evasive manuvers possably just a plane that had malfunctions and caught on fire... there is a large market in the army that just aquired top tecnology unmaned arial targets

  • Aren't those russians always bragging about they're missile technology? well its fucking garbage now.

  • next thing they are going to tell us is that they have sharks with fricken laser beams .. Yeah baby! Yeah!

  • i think it's already been a decade or more they have this. they are always 50 years ahead.

  • That's a really big breakthrough for weaponry, I mean when else have we had actual lasers.

  • I'mma powerzz upp mahh Layzorrzz ann getzyas!

    haha... :)

  • wow............

  • Great, lets get some of these everywhere so that when UFO visit us, we will shoot them down.

  • the dislike are those who dont understand laser technology. and also dont have it.

  • I would rather watch Pia Toscano.

  • Use mirrors to deflect the beam...use water or another clear medium to distract the beam...

Thanks champs...why not get that GED first instead of posting on YouTube?

  • @michaelandolga you going to hold a jar of water in front of it. Do it then have a friend post the video on here i would definately watch it. i think your comment about the GED is because thats your highest level of Education.

  • News Flash! : sudden surge on demand for mirrors in Somalia.

  • Do you REALLY think that this wont work, and work WELL at some point? You're kidding your selves...really.

  • Now if we can just make sure that all the enemy targets are real small, easy to destroy, flying at a convenient level, and traveling really slowly, then this will work perfectly!

  • @richardhg the majority of anti-ship missiles fit nearly all of those qualifications.

  • @richardhg yea, because a pirate ship is so much faster bigger and have more structural integrity than a drone...

  • Use water or some other clear medium to make the beam all screwy... problem solved.

  • @superbarnie They would have too get here first, accross the Pacific ocean. They won't be able to do that, we would blow up all of their ships before they even reach Hawaii!

  • Is this laser capable of shooting down the so called new chinese anti carrier missile???

  • metal is a lot easier to melt than a mirror. mainly because it reflects. for a very powerful laser to cut a mirror it would have to point at it self so that it can send the beam back and forth till it get to the melting point of the mirror material. if the mirror is at a angle it would throw it off

  • @SKEL45 Or you can just change the wavelength of the beam so that it could not be reflected. Now you mirror is that much weaker than metal. TADA

  • TAKE THAT, NORTH KOREA!

  • Do they realize that anyone with a mirror could defend against it?

  • @xxTheMiddleGroundxx It would cut right through a mirror, it would have to be a super mirror

  • @xxTheMiddleGroundxx Okay ~ you stand there and hold the mirror while the US Navy fires a laser beam at you. Be sure to get in on video so we can all laugh as you leap into the water screaming "omg omg i'm on fire i'm on fire".

  • @ouroboris lol thats what i've been saying these people have no brain power to figure it out i think you just have to let them speak because it just goes to show the lack of education.. but technically you could defect it but the mirror required would have to extreamly heavy and reflective and costly most of our enemies would not possess that kind of tech anyway

  • epic quality

  • Nice! Just wonder if i see this weapon size of shoulder missile launcher in my live time. That will be a good time talk about gun control.

  • what kinda plane is that it looks like stealth...

  • @dilan4me No, they wouldn't be retarded enough to shoot something down of their own that costs so much money to make. It's just a normal drone. btw, stealth planes cost milions of dollars to make and there have only been a few made in the entire world.

  • this lazer can shoot down one or two or 4 target but this system never cant shot down 40 target missile same time!

  • @gamekiiid As of this video release perhaps, but the new systems now (4-2011) can handle that task because of the multiple lasers that are mounted on the ship.

  • @holywells really woow. this is too bad for Iran!

  • @gamekiiid Yes, it truly is, and it is also bad for anyone else that would become a target of these "killer lasers"!! I was wondering how long it would be before they actually put one of the new super high powered lasers into service. And now it is a reality.

  • They should have some of those for civilians to take out the chemtrail tankers that act like they have imunity to spray unknown aerosols, where can I buy one? Im sick of the geoengineering or whatever they are doing to lace the skys here in Los Angeles almost daily. I promise I wont use it on any planes that arnt spewing chemtrails.

  • нахуй Б2 подорвали)) можно же было в шарик стрелять ^_^

  • Problem: The shot-down aircraft looked like the Aurora (a new spy plane being worked on in Area 51)

    Clearly Aurora is real

This probably shows it can shoot down at supersonic speeds faster than light (Aurora is projected to fly at about 8000 mph)

  • @th3thrilld3m0n I honestly cannot tell if you are serious or not

  • @th3thrilld3m0n You've been reading too many conspiracy tabloids.

  • Wow! The G.I. Joe era has landed folks!

  • Now we just need to make the lasers small enough to mount to shark heads.

  • @eskercurve Win.

  • @eskercurve lol...awesome

  • @eskercurve lol its like something from red alert 2....

  • @eskercurve quoted for awesomeness

  • We need to develop shields now

  • @stiehler1117 You mean mirrors?

  • Now we can finally go "Pew Pew Pew" with real laser guns!!!

  • Next footage of a gun fight in afghan will sound like "pewpewpew"

  • haha and china thinks they have some crazy shit with their little copy of the f22. pussies. haha

  • @cheanator

they dont need no technology, they could just storm into your house with their fucking big ass army of 1 million+.

  • Would you pay me a couple of thousand to take a baseball bat to a computer to test the bats breaking ability?

  • @joeytrimble Those things at most cost maybe 1 grand each. And they're used to make sure the weapons systems work.

  • nice now we're paying millions so the military can build drones so they can blow them up .. lovely

  • @joeytrimble

You're paying millions so that you can sleep soundly at night, knowing that there's someone protecting you. Pull your head out of your ass, "joeytrimble".

  • Next time, cover your missiles with mirrors.

  • Well then, as long as the Mig-29's all fly in a straight line a low speed and altitude, we'll own em all :D

  • @PsuPepperoni Actually, your new bullshit would work well if those Migs fly at hight altitudes where there won't be any obstacles. Low altitudes mean mountains and low plane visibility - you'd see its thin side rather than the belly whose area is larger and easier to target.

I don't think it's easy to dodge the laser, given that the targeting system is reactive and agile, which seems to be the case, so flying in non-straight lines won't be a problem.

  • @PsuPepperoni Gotta start somewhere.

  • @abxxxh well said..........

  • When are we going to be able to glass brown people with it?

  • suicide bombers are cheaper than ICBMs

  • plastic mini-drone!

  • @emiliob7878 fool

  • everything will look cooler when it has reflective armour

  • That's fucking awesome

  • real tesla technology

  • So much time to shoot down RC model?

  • @PetrFM the high power beam is not firing the whole time. the high power beam fires intermittently

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, and calling me a "tard" really made me cry. Ha!

  • @theostor222 I downloaded the bit torrent of this clip( the best i could find) and then watched it clip-by-clip. No Splash... Plus the lighting on the water dramatically changes.

  • Yes, I believe everything I read on the the Internet too! Haha! Get over it.

  • Oh, I get it !!! This " Bad-Ass " laser, will replace the Navy's CIWS, on ships, and through in a couple of " Rail Guns " and LCS-1 & 2. Man you won't even see this coming.

  • @MrJeffreydunson

No... It will work as a cheap alternative to the CIWS, and will be installed WITH CIWS

  • one powerful ass laser they got there

  • This is very sad pushing war, pushing weapons, pushing destruction, pushing death and making it OK, and losing our rights for it. This New World Order System.

  • expensive test _O_

  • Damn the military better put a ALOT of money into laser research now, especially with the new DF 21D missle raping the pacific...

  • @OneWayWCF

DF-21 is useless, the Chinese would never be stupid enough to launch a ballistic missile in times of war. Ballistic missile warrants a direct nuclear retaliation.

  • @cr9527 Then why would they build it in the first place? Obviously it probably won't be used until an all out war, but it is still direct threat to the Pacific fleet.

  • @OneWayWCF

It is a deterrent, like the nuclear weapons. But unlike the nuclear weapons, there is no evidence of it working.

It is still a threat, without a doubt, but it isn't a game changer, and the Chinese command will have to be really desperate to risk launching one.

  • @cr9527 No, not entirely desperate. True there is no current evidence that it is working, but that's not an elligable chance that we should take. Plus the DF 21D is the first ASMB to be developed; it may not be used, but it definately promotes China's capabilty to operate U.S. naval intervention in the Taiwan Strait.

  • @OneWayWCF

Thing is, US isn't defenseless against DF-21either. From AEGIS to even basic fleet movement tactics can negate much of the threat of the DF-21.

I am not saying US shouldn't consider DF-21 as a threat, but like I've been repeating, it is not a game changer.

  • @cr9527 I'm not too sure aboout that... True the U.S. may not be entirely defenseless, but the DF 21D moves at mark 10, giving U.S. carriers less than 10mins to react. That is if it can pick it up from 900miles away.

It's weapon capabilities haven't been tested yet so there's no certainty, however, it was created to be a game changer against the super carriers.

  • @OneWayWCF

First off, it's a large medium range ballistic missile. US has more than enough capability to monitor the entire world for these launches. From satellite assets to UAV, and even now the F-35 can track missile launches.

Secondly, the ONLY way for DF-21D to work is if China attacks the US navy without first declaring war

As soon as war breaks out, you can count on a systematic destruction of majority of launchers for ballistic missiles. There are so many effective counters for it.

  • @cr9527 It's still considered a game changer. Yes, there may be ways to counter it through manoevours or other methods, but the primary anti-ballistic capabilities such as the AEGIS BMD has NO confirmation that it can protect against a DF-21D.

So far the only way to completely avoid it is to stay out of range. And that's exactly what we have done with the USS. Washington docking in the Sea of Japan during the training exercise with the ROK.

  • @OneWayWCF

Let's look at the worst case scenario, assuming PLAN can find the carrier, assuming DF-21D can find the target, assuming DF-21D can maneuver to a moving target, assuming SM-3 doesn't intercept during midcourse, assuming SM-2 doesn't intercept during terminal, Assuming RAM does nothing, congrats, DF-21D has just punched a small hole into the carrier's top few decks damaging a few aircraft and crew.

A few days of repair, and she'll be back into operation.

  • @OneWayWCF

Then you can look at what is available to counter it.

More persistent air dominance along the coasts, drones, AEGIS, smart maneuvering, decoys, EW, I can go on.

The decision to take the fleet exercise east of Korea is a political, not a military one.

DF-21D, like all coastal defenses, will only work amongst other things, if you out range your target. This limitation forces you to place the batteries in very obvious and predictable locations.

    Again, not a game changer.

  • @cr9527 Okay, so there are many ways to counter this laser yes, but it is the FIRST one, meaning they finally got the basics down. And just like all other things, from that the US can expand from it, make it better. This just proves that lasers can be done, and they have a basic understanding of it now, so it is very much so a very big a game changer in that we now have a whole new unexplored technology which can be used for weaponry and may in the future have other affects to it.

  • @tenbrion123

I have no doubt US will make a more battle suited laser system within the next 10 years.

  • @cr9527 Trust me, with the unlimited amounts of tax$ flooding into the US military, anything is possible.

  • @cr9527 "DF-21D, like all coastal defenses, will only work amongst other things, if you out range your target. This limitation forces you to place the batteries in very obvious and predictable locations."

They are not fixed to batteries, but are mobile (Yes can be moved whenever they want to). Therefore not predictable. To believe that China is a one trick pony when it comes to countering the carrier group is absurd. So yes, with it in China's arsenal now, it is very much a game changer.

  • @pakjai

And since when were mobile defense launchers like SAMs performed well against an organized force?

  • @cr9527

    -Cont

They were always very predictable due to the necessity to maximize range for defense.

  • @cr9527 Since when did an organized force engage a country such as China? It will come in handy no doubt if they were China's mobile SAMs. Considering that China isn't an unorganized force in itself.

  • @pakjai

Kosovo, the serbs had the equivalent to the PLA back then, had vast arrays of strategic and tactical SAM launchers, but were rendered entirely useless.

I never said the PLA was disorganized, I stated that mobile strategic ballistic(medium-long range) missile launchers and Mobile strategic SAMs do not perform well against an organized force. This is why even the States do not use them.

They might be "Mobile", but are too few, and too slow to survive.

  • @pakjai you dont get it, the days of SAM defenses and dogfighting are over... Its drones and sattelites now.

  • @eddieisfiction not yet but that time is close, if an massive war starts now there still will be dogfights and sams , and hi tech techiks like tanks in end of ww1

  • @grumman84 more like intercontinental missles then tanks. Tanks would be more of already occupying a won territory, however high speed transports are alot better nowadays, since you can through a 50 cal or a mark 19 on those just fine.

  • good wepon all i need tho is my hi tech mirror to defend against such an attack

  • @altoids79762

    you sir, are a genius

  • @altoids79762 This isnt the same type of laser as in a laser pointer, these lasers melt through 1 inch steel targets in a second, your mirror would be a puddle of glass on the floor, or at least left of it.

  • @Sp33dyD3m0n then how bout i have a lead mirrow with alluminum foil?

  • @altoids79762 Dude these things shoot missiles down in seconds from hundreds of miles away. Any way you can think to make a mirror stronger still wont be enough.

I always thought it would be cool to aim the turret at the ground ad just go to work, making a nice straight line of destruction on the ground below.

  • @Sp33dyD3m0n i imagine this as a pretty evil weapon ,no way you can avoid the weapon if you are unlucky enough to pull the short straw

  • @altoids79762 "pretty evil weapon"(quoted from altoids79762). I disagree with your use of the word evil in describing an inanimate object. The person behind the weapon may be evil, but not the weapon itself, as inanimate objects have no emotional characteristics. I would recommend replacing the word evil with the word Sinister or perhaps Scary.

  • @Eguva c'mon tho we made nukes now we have incinerary lazers ima be shitting bricks now

  • @altoids79762 I believe you misunderstood me. I did not say you were wrong to be scared. I stated you were trying to get your point across in the wrong way.

  • When can I buy one? I seem to have an infestation of moles that are calling for eradication by BFL (big fucking laser XD lol ).

  • @Sp33dyD3m0n hahahahah bfl

  • I wonder if this system was partially developed in response to the chinese anti-ship missile...Probly so..

  • @JackRABBITslim27 I dont believe that to be the case. As with most weapon systems in the USA they are developed and flown years before they are made public. With all the stuff we have and use just think of how much more cool stuff is kept in the dark. Just look back at the A-bomb, B2 stealth bomber and the stealth fighter and the U2 spy plane, all used in service before being announced.

  • We have these on airplanes now too for shooting down incoming missiles. I have seen the picture but forgot the name ( please reinform me if you know) and its pretty bad ass. Its actually 3 lasers in 1, 1 for distance locking, 2 to read atmospheric distortions and the final is the actual weapon.

  • @Sp33dyD3m0n That's the ABL 747 for first-stage missles...

  • @thbs35 Thank you, yea Ive seen them flying around Writt-Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio. Id like to get a closer look, but obviously that wont be happening.

  • ill be laughing at americans when they use this against the Violet heat vector shields on japanese sonic jets

  • @Robindahoodz Its meant for missiles not planes, the ABL isn't fast enough to catch up to the fighter to shoot i down.

  • All this money for war and death. Its sad.
