This meant an end of starfleet command series... I loved 1 and 2, but this is crap. Besides, in pirst two games you could really command a fleet, here you have one ship, and you don't have expanded universe here..

But you were able to engage the Borg. For those who may not know, this game was somewhat rushed onto the shelves in coordination with the release of Star Trek "Nemesis" in theaters.

@71superbee3 Exactly. This game in my opinion, really was the launch point for games like Legacy and ST: On Line. If you have the game and have a hand at manipulating the files you can make a fairly awesome mod of the game either in campaign or conquest mode with the option to add more ships and balance each ship by race and design.

I didn't like the fact that this game was set in the next generation continuuity. Damn, i missed my Lyrans and their ESG generators.

At least they could have used the opportunity to let you play the cardassians or something, but nooo.

@Hyeesa You can add the Lyrans to this game. You have to go into the Assets folder and add them. The game will allow up to 5 additional races. However, you'll need to use the map editor to add each additional race, otherwise the game will crash. You can download a free version of the map editor at FileFront.

Diplomatic workhorses leading the charge in a pitched Sortie? where are the Akiras, where are the Defiants?

Why is the Akira depicted as so pathetic. it has more firepower then a Galaxy, or Sovereign? One could dispatch a trio of Romulan Warbirds no problem.

Where are the fighters? what's with the shuttles...

If you have the game you'd understand. In SFC 3, shuttles act as fighters and fire both phasers and disruptors.

the graphics on the cutscenes in this game are amazing but ingame they are bad...its a nice game anyway
