  • Very well made and clear tutorials that show exactly whats going on and why. Iv picked up a little something from each so far. Good work Loudon.

  • Thanks, great job and clear explanation

  • @hatchface berklee ;)

  • We Use Ableton For All Our Scoring Production, It's Simply The Best DAW in the Market, We Appreciate The Tutorial, Good Stuff.

  • best abelton tutorial to have ever graced my eyes and ears...granted this is only the third one I've ever watched but still pretty damn good

  • Very good!

  • HELP HELP HELP.. on ableton the little progress line that goes across the soundwave isnt in sync with metronome, its about half a beat faster, how can i fix this, its annoying and confusing!!

    please help meeee :)

  • well done, thanks

  • Great tutorial. I've actually read the manual from Ableton on this twice and it never quite clicked for me. I think it has to do with the various ways time is represented in this piece ie. there's clip time, midi time and final track time. Getting all these ideas to gel without a good walk-through is intimidating.

  • What instrument/major is this under?

  • Loudon Stearns! I took MTEC 101 with you last year! So cool i found this...

  • Thanks a lot.

  • Makes me want to enroll to the berkely classes.

  • many thanks great tutorial

  • good vid. thanks for sharing :)

  • thanks

  • Hey how do you actually see that? WHen I click on that tab it only shows the notes i'm playing but how do you get to see those dark gray waves?

  • double click on the audio file in the slot or select the clip and then click on the arrowhead in the bottom rh corner of the screen

  • Super tutorial,,,finally got to understand warping and quantizing.... Thanks

  • you did a really good job at explaining the warping feature

  • wow great tutorial

  • I often use this trick: Before locking (dbl-clking) any warp marks, I like to cntrl click & drag the grey markers for variations on beats/clips. Adjusting the warp settings(beats, texture, repitch, etc) after doing this can create some diverse changes. + adjusting the 3 transient modes, and amount, can do wonders.

  • Thank you, I now have a much better how-to understanding of tightening up the percussion track in Ableton, especially helpful was the 80% "human error" tip!

  • Great tutorial.

  • where can I download that program?
