i personally like oblivion. I love swords, magic, bows and u know..the typical medieval theme. FO3 is also a great game..but the quests and story falls short of what oblivion has to offer, and shivering isles for oblivion wins my vote because its such a beautiful expansion set to an already awesome game. theres plenty of shooters these days, but not much of what oblivion has to offer in terms of medieval/fantasy stuff.

to danny below me there arent 200 ending, if you count up all the different ending videos, including the ones that are there if you do certain side quests that add a scene there are only like 5, 7 at most

Oblivion : AWESOME enviorment, fun quests, cool armour and weapons, stable leveling system, very big map for tons of exploration, ride horses, able to block and defend yourself, no V.A.T.S :(, and much more, running out of space Lol

Fallout 3 : blow stuff up ( not everything), get a real feel of the game, tons of items, GREAT leveling and perk system, bad or good or in between, over 200 endings( though its not thaaat great because they are slightly diffrent), do drugs lmao :P, get a house, really good story line , great dialogue choices and much more.. id go on but i have no space left.

For anyone who is concerned about which one i better: Oblivion is for the type of gamers that like medivieal genres like magic, bows,big as longswords, and all out melee combat. As for Fallout 3, Its all about blowing a whole bunch of shit up, post-apocalyptic themes, and just a long time into the future with alot of guns and its EXTREMELY GORY (my favorite =D). For both games though there outstanding, graphics are breath taking, and overall gameplay is just simpily awesome. Both games are great

both games are the best single-player experiences I've had along with Bioshock, however I have to give this to Oblivion. I mean yes Fallout 3 does have VATS and gore, but when u get right down to the content value Oblivion has at least twice the replayablitiy Fallout does. Oblivions story is much longer, theres quests to do for guilds, and on top of that there's random side quests to be found just by exploring. You can play Oblivion for 400 hours and still not beat everything.

So what if morrowind was uglier? It had MUCH, MUCH more factions, creatures, quests, a bigger world, better story, more of well, anything. And it had good graphics for its time. Its like saying halo 3 > Halo: Combat Evolved... I bet your one of those people who just saw a video on youtube of morrowind, then you think it sucks. And im not some morrowind fan, I just think it beats Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Dont judge the book by its cover.

Don't bet on something you don't know. I did play Morrowind and the combat system just ruined everything for me. Bigger world? It was brown and ugly like I said. When I play a game, I expect to have fun. Not just because it has a good story with more creatures is it gonna win me over. This game sure didn't.

Oblivion is definitley the best!!!! Considering it was one of the first ever games out on 360 and its still one of the best!!!! Also on Fallout it is sooooo easy to level up without even using the skill. On Oblivion u have to use that skill to become better at it!! And overall I think that its a much more imaginative game!!!!

Fallout is still very good (second on my all time favourite games list) but Oblivionhas to top that list!!!!!!!!!!

Being a vamp sucks. You have to be in darkness all the time. Once, I was a mile away from anything and out in sunlight while a vampire. You can't fast travel while taking damage or wait for that matter. I died in about 2-5 minutes --I had a crap-load of potions too.

I have never played Fallout 3, so I can't compare but I will say that Oblivion is a GREAT game. It's very customizable and has a great storyline. There are many many things to do and simply impossible to sum them all up in one comment. Because they are both created by the same companies, I'm sure it's a really hard decision.

Absolutely. I know that it's a RPG, but if you make it that close to an FPS, then don't give people the kills almost for free. It works in RPGs that are more RPG and less of anything else, but otherwise, I think it's terrible.
