@MrAlec9211 I just built a new one with the Intel Core i5 and the GeForce 550 Ti, 1.5 TB of RAID5, and the ASUS P8Z68 motherboard, and it can run FSX maxed out at about 30-40 fps. I can use Bandicam and get about 15-20 fps.

what DDR and speed is the RAM and what graphics card do you have?

remember, FSX is demanding a lot of processor power as wel as a good graphics card.

no you don't need the rudder pedals because the Saitek Cyborg X Flight stick will have its own rudder axe. The joystick can twist.

i'm using a saitek joypad with analog and digital and to my suprise the digital feels better and more comfortable than the analogue. If you really fancy a yoke then buy one but to be honest it really isnt worth it for somethign which is just a video game. microsoft flight sim is not even a real simulator and is marketed as a video game

I dont see how the tracking headset is beneficial. To look left you turn your head left, so you arent looking at the screen anymore. It seems to me like your eyes would hurt to have them rolled to the side for that long.

The Saitek Pro Flight Yoke seems MUCH more appealing, and realistic. But how does the throttle work? I mean, what if I want to fly a multi-engine aircraft, like a Boeing 737 or 747? Is it possible to operate all the jet engines with only one throttle lever?

if you buy the yoke you actually should buy the rudder pedals to else you don't have anything to control the rudder. But then it is going to be twice more expensive. The X52 joystick is also nice and then jou have a rudder.

i use the pro flight yoke system for controlling the plane in the air including take off and landing. of course the large planes do have autopilot. I don't use the joystick functions, i only have it there for the extra buttons and the throttle.

The Warthog HOTAS looks good for those military flight simulator, but i didn't test it.

i think you will be able to steer on the ground. on the ground the yoke works for the rudder and ailerons at the same time. but the ailerons have no or little effect when on the ground. when in the air, the yoke only does the ailerons (and of course elevator but thats the other axe) so you don't have a rudder in the air.

I have pretty much all of the saitek range. Everything works fine except for the most important thing my saitek pro flight yoke. Everytime i pull up or turn right it stutters ( doesn't react cleanly) . Did you have similar problems when you started with it and if so what did you do to to solve the problem ?

When i tried it in the beginning, the yoke was very sensitive and that made it hard to fly smooth. I lowered the sensitivity in FSX settings. For me it works better. You can try that.

you can connect the controllers to your laptop with USB. it will take about two usb ports. Luckily the yoke has a USB hub. If your laptop and your TV has an HDMI port, you can output the it on your TV.
