My new listening room has a serious wobbly & uneven floorboard problem. I'm thinking of laying down one big slab of granite directly onto the carpet, or maybe on foam, and putting both speakers and the cabinet on it. Would this be any good, or do the speakers need to be isolated from each other?
Stupid those comments with sentences like "sound is just epic" how do you hope to listen that High Definition system with your Low Definition system? High Definition at certain level is a joke.
@goleafbudsgo I don't understand what you try to tell me but basically is clear for me that, despite the fact I listen how the system sounds (and it basically means how the sound is modeled in that room at least as it comes to the microphone) my system cannot emulate in any part how that system sounds, so don't make sence to tell "sounds very cool" because in fact, you aren't listening that cool system, but your own system reproducing what was recorded. Not a metaphysical issue.
@goleafbudsgo ...now, were you record that system and were you wait the people may listen any of the properties of that system, you are basically doing the people may appreciate how the room convolutes the sound, then you are waiting the people may have a hi-fi experience based on convolution; being so, any system with a convoluter in the middle may match any of the properties of a Hi-Fi system (but it cannot happen, at least for systems without a proper full range definition).
I'm wondering, if I get 2 12 inch kenwood subs in a custom dual 12 inch box with a 4000 watt 2 channel lanzar amp, and a 4 gauge boss audio kit, IS THIS ALL I NEED TO RUN IT OFF MY COMPUTER? If its not, what else would i need to make this run off of my computer with good volume in my room. Thank you
You have very sweet system but you need two thing and your system will perfect:
1- Dark Field: Conventional cable isolation theory holds that optimal cable performance can be achieved by elevating cables from the floor in an attempt to control vibrations and manage static fields.
@albolooki I just wonder to know how many people disregard truly value of high definition shielded speaker cables and still carry on attaching dollarama cables to their fancy speakers. As result, their speakers never give their full potential.
Just think: why so many listeners claim that several hundreds headphones give the sound of speakers which cost ten grands or more. Is that has something to do with mediocre speaker amplification?

2- Harmonix tuning feet: are the first step towards perfect sound. Placed under CD players, turntables, preamps, power amps, speakers, and other equipment, these remarkable devices eliminate electronic and mechanical distortion to bring out a depth of sound you didn't even know was there

i love hifi but isn't it ironic that your posting a video of a high end system playing music which people will in turn listen to through a 'tinny' speaker installed in their laptop or to they're PC contradicting everything about high end audio. This is not a dig at you, i just find it amusing. by the way i love your michelle GYRO. i think it's one of the best looking turntables around.
yes it would, especially to the record & the cables when exposed under direct sunlight! but had to open the curtains for the time being to give enough brightness to the lens.
The speakers are fantastic... even with the losses through your cam mic, and you tube... and listening through my Sennheiser HD 420 headphones (classic professional model) I can hear their liveliness, and dynamics, and your room acoustics .... great two way Viennas.. wonderful demonstration!
It's funny how you can actually tell how good some speakers are through the tubes! These, I must say sound brilliant on my KEF iQ10s. And I'm sure the tubes and even my speakers aren't doing them justice!
Can you really? I don't think you actually can. You just think you are.. Like think about it for a minute..how can you hear how good a speaker is when you're not listening actually listening to the speaker?
Love them...their size is amazing the sound coming out of them...nice room filling even on my Monsoon flat PC Speakers I can hear the details...awesome...thanks for posting/sharing

Yes, sometimes you really can notice some qualities of the speaker through YouTube.
Just a shame you have to be such a dick about it.
