@PJ4life1 I must not have written my post in clear english......the United States Coast Guard is in the Middle East NOW, teaching the Iraqi and other Navys and Coast Guard assets how to board and inspect ships - Ultimately preventing terrorist assets from reaching their ports and oil terminals. Don't confuse your military and professional pride with the right to insult someone else's. Served 20 years - 16 as enlisted (E1-E7), CWO2 for 4. Now retired.

The Unites States Coast Guard is, and has been one of our FIVE Armed Forces since August 4, 1790. Our men and women have served in every armed conflict alongside all the other branches since then. Ask a United States Marine who landed them on Guadalcanal...it was the Coast Guard! Take your GED and go back to pumping gas at 7-11.

The Coast Guard should be ASHAMED that they stole the USAF Pararescue motto. SO OTHERS MAY LIVE. THe USAF PArarescue EARNED that motto in BLOOD and the swimmers thank the PJ's by STEALING their motto. THe USAF Pj's have shed their blood in Vietnam rescuing downed pilots and continue to shed their blood in IRAQ and Afgh.and the C.G. steal from them. NO wonder the C.G. gets no respect.
