Imagine how odd it would be if the Doctor just straight up said that to everyone he met that he was trying to save? Although I do like that he did it because it saved a lot of time. Unlike in "Midnight" where he wouldn't tell the passengers who he was & was almost killed because of it.

@DoctorWhoCenter2010 Yes, but the theme song is an integral part of Ten's character, as Eleven's is to him. Mixing up the themes, eve on purpose, takes something away from the epicness of the scene.
