I've always knew that 1997 was one of the best years for music, and not just the best year for alternative music. So many great artists were cranking out such great music, and 97 was truly the peak of it all :)

It really does capture summer - Fresh and bright! Will have to check out if there's other good tunes from these guys. It actually reminds me of "strawberry fields" evoke perfume which my girlfriends and i used to wear in year 8! Funny how scents can connect with songs and memories...

I am a radio DJ for a living. This song came on when I was in the bank the other day (not that DJs have much occassion for banks...) and I was like wow I have not heard this in forever. Lord, how cliched the cliche-makers have made all the truths about time, etc. How cliched, how true, how little I regret regurgitating the cliche, because here it's heartfelt: TIME PASSES SO QUICKLIER EVER YEAR. It's lovely, though. For the first time ever, I think, I don't feel bad about this. Because of this loveliest song. Lord, it's lovely, isn't it? 1997? Was that long ago? I hardly care suddenly!
