Which three to five attributes did I predict he had that backed up your claim that knowledge will get you through high school and straight into an Ivy League?
I understand that the schooling system these days is extremely flawed, i.e. bonus points for homework that keep a student at a 90.1% whereas in college he/she would be getting a C in the class.
I just think it takes a lot more than pure knowledge to achieve EXTREME success in the educational system of America.
Furthermore, I highly doubt that "any dumb ass" can simply regurgitate information thrown at them in a class. Sure, this may be the case in some simple courses, but when true analysis is required, intelligence will take you the furthest.
Writing a rhetorical analysis in 45 minutes?
Penning an essay during the AP biology exam regarding molecular evolution?
Of course knowledge will help you, but only a true grasp of the information will get you where you want to go.
I see what point you're trying to make, but I beg to differ...knowledge, in my opinion, will get you nowhere. Some of my best friends know every single capital of every single country in the world, or all the water systems and their respective tributaries; it doesn't mean they're going to get an A in AP Literature and Composition. School these days is about DEDICATION. In my opinion, the reason kids get poor grades (if they do) is solely because they don't care about education.
There is no doubt with this guy. And no, I have no inner problems and not even a scintilla of jealousy. I am going to a top 10 school my self. Just based upon what I have seen at my university, only scholarship athletes and major tools sound like him
@apoc601 people who give the detriment of the doubt generally have inner problems to work out.
P.S. The percentage of pay-their-way students is somewhere around 1.5-4.5 percent at most Ivies. Most on the low side, with Brown being the only one on the high side.
Hunting through my family tree and found my mothers uncle was a Sterling Professor at Yale, anyone know of this guy around 1938 please contact me he helped design the library his name was Andrew Keogh.

@cowboycliche022 Well not me because I take/am going to take 11+ APs, and have a 2340 SATI and 2360 SATII. Also I'm ranked #2 - and made USAMO.
-and did I mention I got into Yale SCEA?

Congratulations, you're in the 10% that he's not smarter than!!!!
And while you're at it, go ahead and brag about your credentials.
Have any leadership positions in there?
Community service?
I mean, you sound like a prime role model for applicants to ivy league schools.
Please, DO tell your secrets.
I'm dying to know.
Honestly, what did I say to prompt such a pretentious and braggart response from you?
I merely suggested that he must have some intelligence to get into Yale...

he probably had 10 uncles, 7 aunts, and 11 cousins who went to Yale and as alumni they donated a sum of $11, 234,567 so he was an auto-accept.
