@southpol3 If anything Halo 4 would be using a modified version of the Reach engine...

HaloCEA runs on the Original Engine meaning this is basically still Bungie's game and 343 just painted over it just to make it look pretty. 343 didn't remake CE only Retextured, it's impossible for them to use these graphics for Halo 4. Besides why would they use a 10 year old game engine for Halo 4? You have nothing to worry about, Halo 4 won't look like this. =/

@TheGamesAreReel Well there's small added bonuses to it that the original doesn't have. If you don't want to buy it then you should rent it because it's definitely worth a play if you are a fan of the first game's campaign. :]

I just did the "missing marine" glitch in the beginning of the level and passed every grunt and jackal before you go into the structure. I even beat the game to when it "looked" like Marines were shooting out of the building. In reality, it's 3 floating assault rifles shooting nothing. Honest story. I even punched the floating gun and it reacted as if someone was holding it. It was funny.

I remembered when i first played the guilty spark map in halo 1, I almost shit my pants. The flood was something like i never had seen before, and i would always stand still in that map, just sitting on one place, until i felt safe enough to move again xD

@DharkDemonBlade It's not quite at the level of Halo Reach graphics because the game still runs on the original engine so it's a little boxy but get me wrong...if you loved the campaign back in 2001 you will love how it looks now. It's a nice makeover. =)

Honestly, i dont like the look of this level remade. In the old game there wasnt any of those blue(covenant) lights, because it wasnt a covenant structure, it was a forerunner structure. Also with the lights, you can see and its lit up, in the old game you could barely see and thats what made it unique and eerie. All im trying to say is, the look of this level remade lacks the whole: Hey, whats this cute little popcorn thing thats coming towards me...OH MY GOODNESS NOOOOOOOO!!!1! Feel.

@TheorysFact In cutscenes, the animations are proper motion-capture and stuff, whereas the original animations were handmade. Shame they didn't make new animations for actual gameplay, but oh well, the game still looks damn awesome :D.

In the end, when master chief finds jenkins body, i think he looks more natural than the original combat evolved, with the fingers detail and everything. I think that's good, now he looks more like a human in an armour, not a machine. Love it!
