  • the ceo of PETA has been accused of animal cruelty before !

  • no whale should be in a pool... end of! it wouldnt choose to be there

  • SEAWORLD IS DISGUSTING. FUCK OFF.

  • Hypocrites. They talk about keeping the ocean wild and free, and yet they have so many captive sea creatures. FUCK YOU SEAWORLD

  • I hate when people argue, people who don't like seaworld go to British Columbia, those who do, go to sea world just it works better when you use calm words

  • SeaWorld=SLAVERY

  • SET THEM FREE!!! STOP SEA WORLD!!!!

  • I love Seaworld♥ for those you dont like it. go away, why are you even watching this video if you dont like it? and yes, its really abd that they are kept in tanks but Seaworld has rescue teams, and they help A LOT of animals. I LOVE SEAWORLD.

  • Sea World commercials always give me chills :)

  • Seaword, Keep up the good work with ALL you do for animals in and outside of the park.

  • sea world keep doing what your doing. your doing all the right things and dont let anyone tell you differently . you are some of our worlds animals last chance your the only company that has the resources, money, and will to find out how to realease them into the wild if there captive born. you may not be working on it now but theres not a need for it YET we still have a chance

  • @josh3096 Been having a good laugh for a couple of days now over your comment..." you may not be working on it now" Do you really believe an Amusement Park will be the future saviour of Orca ? The SW Board of Directors must be pissing their collective pants.

  • saw the 1st 1 2 day it was awesome!

  • Cannot wait for this

  • Would people stop complaining about Captivity!

Obv. you all don't know if it's inspirational or not

Because the Show hasn't came live yet! You never Know!

Plus if it wasn't for seaworld i wouldn't of interacted with a dolphin, and orca, and a beluga etc....

Or even wouldn't seen any of them in my life! Or knew that they even exist!

In Fact when whale watching its Illegal to interact with them!

And the tanks aren't even that small! In the sea pen they would still have to do Behaviors/tricks

  • @SimplyOrca There is always a sense of entitlement with the Sea World Cultists.

  • @SimplyOrca - So you've never heard of a book? lol

  • @sweetnessboy1 How clever!

  • Goin in may !!!!!!!

  • Going to Seaworld Orlando Next month cant wait!!!!!

  • Yay! This looks AMAZING! I can tell the scene where the audience was shot at wasn't at Orlando haha.

  • YEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYYY!!!

  • @TheWhalefreak101 What where you hoping for?thier main parks, san diego and orlando are vacation spots, tourists won't pay to be lectured, they want a show, and if there's entertainement in the mix, even better!

  • @HyakkoShachi And this is precisely why orcas should not be in captivity. Okay, pro-caps, SeaWorld DID inspire me - they inspired me to pursue my passion to study killer whales, which I did (on the northern residents), and plan on getting my masters degree and possibly PhD on them. But because of this, I no longer support these animals in captivity. They are far too complex, and frankly, it's hardly different than keeping a person imprisoned for entertainment. I say retire them to sea pens.

  • @Jenckles Orcas are certainly very smart, maybe as smart as people, maybe not.Remember,we can barely measure human intelligence. Killer whales evolved differently than humans, and because of that, even if they where as intelligent as humans,it does'nt mean they think the same way humans do. We should not fool ourselves into thinking we know one way or the other how they feel about being kept in pools.

A pool is not much different than a sea pen. It's all about the quality of the pool or sea pen.

  • @HyakkoShachi if you were an orca, where would you prefer to live ?

  • @HiLaXx I probably would'nt care as long as there's a consistent source of food and mental stimulation. Space is'nt very important when you have those three things. As far as space in conserned it is a matter of individual prefference, not a need.Just like people the amount of space varies depending on what the whale is comfortable with.

  • @HyakkoShachi Birds were born to FLY.Horses were born to RUN.Whales were born to SWIM,in the wild.

seaworld shouldn't exist, children should learn to protect THEIR ENVIROMENT which is slowly dying, not their tanks. Its 2difficult for me,to understand why people can have fun, when they see these kind of shows..I remember when I was a child, my father brough me 2 a marine park 2 see dolphins & I cried..I asked him to never bring me there again,I told him "when I grow up I will fight for their rights".

  • @HiLaXx Are you saying you don't beleive people should keep pet birds or ride horses?

No human remembers anything that detailed about thier childhood. WE only remember small peices and stich them together, chances are you where just scared of them when you where a little kid and now you assosiate the crying with the political beleifs you have now.

Small children have no political beleifs and don't think like that.

The fact is, animal rights is based on emotions and politics, not on science

  • @HyakkoShachi Lets see.. Sea pen: cetaceans can echolocate, catch natural prey, swim much further and commence other sonar abilities. Pool: None of these things. Your logic is absurdly flawed.

  • @StickArenaCleanUp

Cetaceans can echolocate in pools too, the idea that they can't is a myth invented by animal rights activists. Also, they only use sonar when hunting and when in murkey water wich they are unfamiliar with. They don't need to use it for anything else.

Wether a fish is alive or already dead has no effect on their health, but wild fish may carry parasites.

Also, many sea pens are smaller than purpose made pools.

  • @HyakkoShachi

Show the science that they can. They send out the so called frequencies, it bounces back. They cannot echolocate in pools when they are between walls, not naturally, anyways. No, it was not invented by ARA's. They also have other sonar abilities.

Vitamins deteriorate over time, dead fish clearly have less nutrition, supplying food to an apex predator also ends up coming off as a lack of mental stimulation, thus causign boredom.

Most sea pens are much larger.

  • @StickArenaCleanUp SImple, look up sonar and echolocation studies done on captive dolphin, most of them have been done in pools.Echolocations are supposed to bounce that is how echolocation works.

Dead fish has only slightly less nutrition, but not so much that it can't be suplimented. All zoo animals have their food supplimented and there it does not cause any health issues.

Most sea pens are temprary and therefore small compared to pools.

  • @HyakkoShachi Biosonar bounces back off walls back to the dolphins instead of properly "revealing" echoes like it would in the wild to help them navigate, identify and locate objects, not exactly how it works!

Slightly less nutrition? Sorry, the vitamins deteriorate very quickly, plus think about the amino acid die off.

Sea pens are generally part of a rehabilitation plan for an orca to remain in human care and eventually return to the ocean, which would succeed if the parks allowed it.

  • @HyakkoShachi You are an idiot. There is significant research detailing how captivity is detrimental to the health of ANY wild animal. Born captive or not.

  • @rissakai007 I'm an idiot? Who's the one that is commenting on seven month old posts and resorting to petty name calling? Also, many wild animals do much better in captivity than they do in the wild due to the fact that they are'nt being preyed upon, have access to food and healthcare. That said I could just as easily say leaving wild animals in their natural habitats are detrimental to their health, born in the wild or not.

  • @TheWhalefreak101 It's based on Education. They talk about conservation and killer whales. It can't be like Believe because that wouldn't work. The trainers are out of the water for the first part of the show then hopefully they will climb back in later. This is an education based show.

  • katina was good for the commerical

  • are the trainers not in the water anymore or something? idk if its a rumor or not...

  • @Nessasbeach They haven't been for over a year. Because of an accident where a trainer died. But they are preparing to get back in the water in a few months. They will be back in shows in a year or maybe less probably. They haven't announced when yet.

  • If you've seen the Rehearsal for one ocean video's then you could hear that when the girl is singing its from the opening song! But just the singing, not the theme. IM SO EXCITED!

  • lol at the one tard who disliked this

  • @philliesorca its funny how peta says they loves animals yet they killed over 20,000 dogs since 1998. bunch of jokes

  • @philliesorca They take animals from shelters that cannot afford them and spend their own resources to euthanize them. They are HELPING shelters HELP animals by saving the shelter money. These dogs would have been killed regardless. This is because people don't neuter their pets and continue to buy from breeders.

  • @rissakai007 Yes,let's ignore the fact that PETA officials have said many times that they against people being near any animals at all and think that domestic animals are freaks of nature and therefore must be phased out of existance.

  • Wow! So excited for the new show!..but i have to admit i will miss Believe

  • I can't wait to see it. I'll miss Believe but this sounds good too.
