Personally, songs of Valhalla always warm my heart. Call me a viking-wannabe, but the fundamental idea by far surpasses the other religious, afterlife paradise-equivalents I am familiar with. Drinking beer amongst the heroes and the gods.. Epic battles between the immortals.. Sex with valkyries (I hope).. Wouldn't that be something? Damn. Oh well, committing glorius deeds and dying a warrior's death is so hard these days anyway.

Midnight is easily one of the most passionate singers in metal. I mean who else can sing about vikings and odin and yet sound utterly sincere? He and the rest of the band are/were utter genius.

It's not too difficult, really. Just takes a while to work out that you can still sing in falsetto, even as a man. It's mainly psychological problems which stop people from singing well/high.
