this game looks amazing but sill have no clue how the battle system works. Is it like XII or is it going to be like the ones before?

@myname89yearsago Erm, hard to explain(i've played a bit overseas) the same ol' time delay then select your attack in real time and execute and she'll attack the target. As far as I could tell, it was turn based, it's based on attack-time delay or something like that but it's all in real-time. sorry for the bad description, I don't play RPGs that often :L

I really like Lightening's voice ...and I really like her as a ff heroine..shes not super-girly and ditzy like some of the ones in past ff games. I just wish she was a lesbian lol

haiz.. i guess im still getting the jap version. I find some of the conversations sort of had a different meaning when comparing the 2 version. and the Jap voices had more deep emotions. maybe they are used to ya? making animes and sort. They are used to dub in voices so, i find jap version more superior. I like the jap theme song more too! haha

@masterdon2002 Wow actually for once i think the english voices does have plenty of emotion in their voices. the english voices rarely outdo the jap....but i think these voice are on par with them

@hwdbgt yes, on par in terms of voice acting but in terms of language, as masterdon said, is lacking deeper meaning found in the JP version.

What the? I'm excited for Final Fantasy 13 but what? Final Fantasy 13 E3 trailer looked like a different serious story, now new characters are announced, love and I didn't think Lightning would be like this after the first trailer...hhhmmmm oh well I'm still excited but I'm still like what the? Thankyou though for putting this up for all to see, one last thing for some reason Snow and Lighting's sister reminded me of Leon and the girl. Similar seen happens when she falls of jumps off the ship..

the voices are perfect for their charters! I'm curious tho. Is the lip sync different from the jap vers all is the lip syn the same but with another languae other?

its a different lip sync ^^ but just in the ingame scenes...look at 5:58 - 6:01...its matches the english voice perfectly

A couple of Japanese words and English translations didn't match. Though no major meaning was lost. At least the English voiceovers are much better than they were before, which means I can save money from buying the Jap version XD
