How is this for mountain riding and jibbing. I haerd this thing is fucking sick for just carving and jibbing the fuck out of everything. Also the most important question of all: How do you like the board?
@xbox360crazed the board rides great, super stable at high speeds and nice and flexing for butters and spins and everything but sometimes on boxes it catches edges cause of the magne traction if your trying to spin on the box. but otherwise its an all round awesome ride.
@xbox360crazed I dont know how slow this dude rides but it isnt stable at all at high speeds. And if you're looking to hit any booters over 20 ft you're going to have trouble on the landings
@LivinFresh519 yeah i mean i dont really hit big jumps im mainly a freedstyle all mountain rider. so i just do wood trails and double blacks. ill hit butter boxes and 5 foots jumps every once a while.
You got a lip tech. Buy a set of unions or bend metal for that board.or a higher end burton binding. At least a cartel. You will enjoy your board alot more. Just my opinion.
@Eperitus22 Burton Custom Brew, they got a beer bottle opener on the back ahahha. but i dont drink so its useless but yeah i got them cause they looked awesome.
@CRMAUS993 Burton Custom Brew, they are like 4 years old but the base plate just broke the other day!!! bummer, but now im in the market to find some new ones..
@Dalkcity166 That would make sense because I couldn't find them at all online, they actually looked kinda neat on the skate banana. I'm looking at some of the flow bindings because I like to punch runs real fast without waiting for crew at the top to buckle in. Rode flow on my current setup and didn't have any issues at all. Not sure, there are a lot of good looking bindings for 2012.
@OneShotLegendz unreal on rails actually! cannot complain, having the wide definately helps for that id say, although it may be a tad heavier than a regular width
just started snowboarding the past few months and need to get my self a board i really like the design of this board and iv heard such good things about it should i buy this bearing in mind it will be my first board?
@DeZaaH1994 this board is super easy and fun to ride, but for a first board you might want to get a regular cambered board because thats what most people get when they are just learning to carve and ride.
@DeZaaH1994 dont get me wrong, the banana would totally work great!, but i ran a lower-end burton for my first couple years of learning and that seemed to work well.. it was a Wide aswell, if you got big feet i suggest gettin one.
@DeZaaH1994 if your going to get a camber board for your first board you should check out the capita stairmaster probly close to the best board for your buck.
@semajgnik balance is key, but just try it a lot out of the hill and you'll get the hang of it. also it depends on what kind of board you have. Reverse Camber boards make it a lot easier to butter/press
the black pad is just a regular carpet area rug thing.
@Dalkcity166 i have a skate banana also, last year's model. it seems like im not flexing the board enough when i try to do it, like im too weak to flex the board or something.. idk..
@eggmaynn you got big feet, the 159W is nice and wide for that reason so your toes wont catch, but you are pretty light... you could have gone with the 157W. but at the end of the day its only a 2cm difference...
what size is that skate bannana???

These boards always have the ugliest graphic. lol Doesnt look like you press right, or the board just isnt very flexible.

i love Mervin Manufacturing...it's because this is how a board from them flex's even before hitting snow and breaking it in.

coolmitchg 2 months ago
@semajgnik maybe your stance is too narrow, it makes it a lot easier with wider stance.
vicpro1 3 months ago
@vicpro1 my stance is 2-4 inches wider than the usual, so i don't think that's it. is it usually hard in the beginning? or not at all?
