guess what happened to me! i was at last 1 and had about 15 secs lefti shoved the red 1 in and fell in aswell, watched the end cut scene and the loaded again, tell me is their anything else that happens or is it just credits?? dont tell me what happens

@TwistedMetel97 You're thinking way too hard about this. Best I can figure, is that it's some sort of factory. For... um... yeah I have no clue. All I know is that a few times I glitched that part and telefragged hardcore. I worked out a better way to skip most of that stuff altogether, but never put it into another run.

For speed, floor portals below you are your friend. As an example, you'd have saved 2-3 seconds at 7:56 to 8:02.

@Sonar009 Indeed, and there are plenty of places to use that technique. This run is by no means optimized, but I put it up because it was the first uncut video on YouTube under the 10-minute cap that didn't involve anything OOB. I made another video after this one that's considerably faster where I start to use floor portals more. I started to learn to portal glitch through thin walls, but got stuck at one part and never pursued it any further before moving on to other games. Do you still play?

@meskens93 Never knew about that myself either. I always take a single chair and place it below the vent without knocking it over. Much faster than this method. You already have a portal in the room with the chairs due to the missile thingy.

Watch the part just before that. I used a portal to allow the turret to shoot at me through the portal. By doing a li'l wiggle, the turret misses me and hits GlaDOS the required 3 times to knock the modules loose. Once I step through the energy shield, the portals disappear and I go about my business.

Once on the catwalk, I placed a portal by a remaining turret. From the tunnel, I put another portal. The turret could shoot through the portals at me, and in over-shooting, hit GlaDOS the necessary 3 times to knock off the modules. Then it was just a matter of collecting them all for incineration. Check my video response for a much cleaner run (though I lose track of 1 module at one point).

I have a faster one. See the video response I posted. The biggest way to save ALOT of time is by using the turret to defeat GlaDOS. Not very many speed runs utilize that technique.
