Thats a real disappointment to put that kind of money into a ATV thinking your ready for the trails and then find out you are looking at a total rebuilt project which will take weeks and extra money that reallly sucks! But hey look like it will be a great machine when all set and done!
After working for Toyota and seeing first hand how they have to spend 40-60 labor hours to replace frames on tundra, tacoma don't trust any used truck utill I inspect the frame will upload a video
Im not sticking up for the previous owner, however is it possible the guy didnt know that there was frame damage? Not everyone that owns bikes or 4wheelers etc is mechanically inclined to know or check that sorta stuff. Glad you caught the damage prior to any accidents that could have cost you your life. Good luck and Ill sub to your page too
@Shift2xlr8 I highly doubt that because it had horrible cheap welds all over the frame, and i don't think a experience welder would risk welding corroded metal like that! I think the previous owner just could not keep up patching holes on that rust bucket.
@eyelesskiller8 new and it will never happen? hahaha thats hilarious, take the newish holden cruze for example, they have a major prob with the ECU which sees them needing to go back to the mechanics every 2 months, new just means the major faults haven't been discovered yet
Wow! Nothing like getting thrown into the deep end! What the heck were they riding in I wonder that rusted that frame out so bad? Looks like you are fixing it right, did you get another used frame or a new one? I subbed you to follow along with your build!
A rotten frame and a rotten bastard who sold it to you.
