  • This song is better than any of the garbage you listen to, cool try though.

  • not a chance he was dancing to this garbage song....cool try though

  • duuuuuuuuuuude that guy is unnatural

  • I tried to imitate him but unfortunately I have bones.

  • wot battle/event is this at?

  • theres no dening he's a great dancer, but he seems to recycle alot of the same moves he did back in 2001, i would be great to see david add his own special touch to dance types like capoeira and the like.

i think david is fantasic, just feel his act is feeling a bit stale atm.

  • Song???

  • The most talented guy in freestyle dance. No doubt!

  • @MrCypresss Shit he was picked for the movie to Dance in the New "Alice In Wonderland" film

  • @SylentReqeuim

I Personally think he is the perfect example of what a dancer should be. He does his own materiel entirely and really puts his heart into it. If dancing is just a bunch of flips, steps, turns, spins, or motions than it really has no value. That's what's so interesting and amazing about this. It's just David having fun dancing! :)

  • DE rips it everytime...

  • I can only pop lock/liquid like this on two GOOD Rolls.

  • The Ending was hot!

  • this song is complete set or simple mix? Plz^^wtch this guy...h's got a sense

  • This is ART, DANCE, CREATIVITY at its BEST.

  • I laugh when non-dancers talk like they know the scene. There's a technical difference between a dancer and a performer. This guy is not a dancer. That doesn't mean he's not an awesome performer though.

  • @SylentRequiem matter of opinion really, there's no definitive or technical meaning of what dance is

  • @SylentRequiem just thought actually, he is always a dancer when he is performing, but he's not always performing when he is a dancer. Dancing is moving to music, performing is doing something for the entertainment of others. This is dancing and performing at the same time.

basically he is a dancer, he'd call himself a dancer, I'd call him a dancer, 99.99% of people would call him a dancer

  • @LucaBoulders 99.99% of dancers dont call him a dancer. 99.99% of regular people might though. Dancers have respect for what he does, but they dont consider him a dancer. Same with a lot of other well known performers; Salah, NHJ, etc.

  • @SylentRequiem ...i`m probably one of those "regular people" ..when i see sequence of moves like this i match this with breakdance ...his style is very progressive, he represants freshness in dance!! :D its my opinion, respect... :)

  • @07Maciek He deserves respect for what he does, I don't deny he has skill. I just deny that he truly represents a dancer. Although, I wouldn't call him fresh, there's plenty of other flexos and much more creative dancers. Who else do you think he learned this stuff off?

  • @SylentRequiem ..i see You are very engaged in polemics what dance really is :) we both can`t deny that his style is an extend of some of breakdance tricks, it grows from the same core :) greetz!

  • @SylentRequiem He got trained by squid well not taught but they sessioned alot together and he inspired elsewhere his style watch squid ur see a little of elsewhere and another dance called salty inspired him also.. but ur rong elsewhere is so creative ive seen no1 like to him today.....

  • @54321ade No disrespect, but It was mentioned from the sources that it was Skywalker that inspired him, which he's part of the group "Detour" But you may be right he probably had those elements from one of those people utilized as his inspiration.

  • @SylentRequiem not 99.99% at all.... Liquid is a dance style which he bases alot of style on and salah is a dancer he enters all locking battles and popping battles and WINS.... Elsewhere is lightyears ahead of many dancers cuase he keeps his dance his art not jus his specific style

  • See this is why I prefer him to others who may be arguably more technical. The guy beats them all on artistic level, and this is very much his style of music, great track

  • Comment removed

  • he needs to come up with new material

cuz all his moves looks the same in all the youtube videos

  • @annekix it takes years to perfect each move illusion dancing is way different than regular popping dancing.....there only so many moves u can do.....david is still the best in the world no wonder pepsi, apple, Volkswagen, and others choose him....look right and u will see that his moves change a bit......

  • @annekix still pretty good, i'd call them signature moves.

  • one thing bad about david elsewhere, hes underated...this guy puts popping on a different level

  • I'm not clued up on this dancin stuff, but I love how his style looks like a mix of different creature movments yet with a charicter to them. Almost like he's acting. it's so fucking cool to watch!

  • @scotalianrocker in one of his interviews he said his style was inspired by the movement of ripples in water and leaves blowing in the wind.

  • the guy knows his classics, that's for sure...

  • ¡INCREIBLE!

  • Elsewhere gets my respect, Style is far beyond just dope. Props.

  • 0:42 - 0:47

    !!!!!!!! what a move

  • just great motoric skills

  • please the song is....

  • trippin'

  • he's amazing, I've yet to see a better dancer

  • I agree, a lot come close but this guy has popping on lock down

  • YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING. If this statement is true, then your exposure to dancing is so limited that your statement is meaningless. Sort of like a 7 year old saying Snow White is the best movie they'd ever seen as though it were an actual compliment to Snow White.

  • Show Me Then.

  • Look up salah

  • he is a great artist

  • Listen up chumpy!

  • I love this men !!!

  • thanks buddy

  • i want strobe like him..

  • whats strobe?

  • strobe lights... you no where it blinks really fast

  • ohhhhhhh ok sorry thank u

  • I tried the strobe dance but I looked like a retard spaz some girl asked me if I was okay

    I quit trying after that

  • LOL

  • hahahahahaha

  • @quetano when dancing you gotta find your own style

  • @quetano LOL Great comment

  • SONG: Mu-ziq-Hasty Boom Alert

  • the music please?

  • description -.-

  • ballerina on crack...

  • lol @ matrix strobe death

  • how does he do that strobe light movie? wtf ahh

  • It's a pretty old techniqueIt's called strobing actually. It utilizes quick deliberate stops (dime stopping.) What makes him so good is his ability to strobe with his arms while moving fluidly with his head and legs.

  • Oh crap! I thought I'd seen all his moves from other videos, then he steps up with more genius from 0:42-0:46.

With that move, plus his patented "strobe" move, he's not just simulating a robot, he's playing with time, like modern film editing techniques, except he's doing it live!

  • david elsewhere or robert muraine who would win? hell throw in philip chbeeb while we're add it. so reply your answer in the 1st 2nd 3rd stanza.

  • Thats an insult to Elsewhere. Muraine is good but nowhere near his technique. Same for Chbeeb. Now Skywalker vs. Elsewhere is another story.

  • 100 %

  • how long can one watch just waves ???

  • That slowmo thing is crazy how does he do that!!!!!!!!!

  • he can tick hard

  • This song and this guy with his dance is the best thing i have been ever seeing. Holy shit it's VERY GOOD!

  • one of the best songs by this group

  • it's one guy, mike p

  • well hes awesome then lol

  • Mike, the same from PUSH?

  • Comment removed

  • someone call 911 cause this guy is SICK!

  • freakin' ALIEN

  • His dancing is repetitive, but then again he might be one of the only persons in the world this good at it.

  • And break dancers who always spin on the floors isn't repetitive?

  • im kinda sick of seeing the same moves

  • at that time those were new moves, he uses new moves when he battles, only recycles when he performs. right now hes too old to be battling and coming up with new moves plus we both know hes one of the few dancers that were in the game who actually looks orginal

  • GO AGAINST SALAH!!!

  • Salah is a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • his style only looks good with IDM

  • whoever mixed this song did a good job. the beginning of this video is actually the last part of the original song and the rest you here is in the middle

  • damn !!!

  • someone can tell me the name of this song? write me a message please

  • Why does he always dance like a spaz. His first video was cool, but his moves are too repetitive.

  • I have got to find out what that music is. Anybody know?

  • It's Hasty Boom Alert by Mu-ziq. Not to point out the obvious, but a lot of times song titles, music groups, etc. are located in the info box in the upper right hand corner of the webpage.

  • 0:47 he killa it :)

  • doh!! left corner bottom, if i had just opened my cloudy eyes... thx

  • WTF is your channel icon doing?

  • can anybody tell me what song this is`?

  • it says at the start of the video!! bottom left corner..

  • wait a second i recognize that place, thats the exact same place where the guy breaking dancing kicks the stupid kid takes place, tried to pull a fast one over on ole Alec did ya?

  • 0:16-0:26 is the best

  • the move he does at 0:16-0:22 looks pretty sweet :P

  • good shit haha

  • Man i wish i could dance like david elsewhere

  • OH OH OHOTTTTTT

  • JP from Grandma's Boy wishes to be David Elsewhere...

  • Earl "Snakehips" Tucker is much better, has rhythm and fluidity of movement, a real dancer. Check it out if you want to see how it should be done. Elsewhere is flexible and athletic but not much of a true dancer. Tucker all that and more.

  • how is elsewhere not a dancer..

  • he is more of a contortionist than a dancer, no rhythm, no fluidity of movement or grace. athletic and flexible but not a true dancer. Tucker was.

  • elsewhere is a dancer, in his real battles its very obvious... the 2 don't even really compare IMO idk why you mentioned the other guy

  • very similar moves, except Tucker has far more rhythm and fluidity in his styles. Elsewhere looks down right goofy.

  • snakehips is doing early style of poppin lockin/electric bougaloo, elswhere is obviously influenced by poppin/electric boogaloo also. snake has far more rhythm and coordination.

  • apples to oranges in my opinion, he just went a different direction with a similar structure of dance

  • Tucker had far more "dance" in his performance. Elsewhere very flexible and athletic, dancing ability very limited. I bet if required to dance in other styles it would be great struggle for him.

  • i agree with you almost completely luvureally except for the fluidity of movement which he does have. other than that you are spot on

  • @luvureally Bernal is not double jointed, a popular misconception. He says: "I’m not double-jointed at all. The only place where I am double-jointed is my thumbs, which doesn’t even matter. I would say I’m probably a little more flexible than most people in certain areas, mainly my shoulders and my ankles, but I wasn’t born that way. Those areas became flexible because of years of practicing."

  • @luvureally this isn't the original music, in the original video he's in time

  • SHIT!

  • Hey! Can anyone tell me were this footage is from? I've got 2 Detours Videos, (Extended Trails, and Experimental Dance). Extended Trails has some of this footage, but not what I'm seeing in this clip.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Plus I gladly pay if you have the DVD!

    David is the Man!

  • David is great.

  • u-ziq... wow. I haven't heard a song from them in probably ten years.

That move David is doing right before the fade is sick as hell. I like it.

  • this might be his beginings XD

  • yeh i do, but with an actual drill...in front of your parents then let you bleed to death and they'll be screaming and shit and it will be sick

  • This video is what introduced me to µ-ziq.

  • me 2

  • but yea no new moves

  • drumfreakx, maybe you should follow your own advice lol can you say hipocrit lol

  • dave elsewhere is always doing the same kinde moves. When i saw him the first time i was impressed and i wanted to more of him. After a few movies i was bored he does not bring any new moves.

  • "dboch3716 : he sucks"

You know that he is one of the worlds best dancers in this type of dancing style?

one thing is that if you dont like the dance style, but saying that david suck, is the same saying that snoop dog cant rhyme, or ronaldo cant play soccer, or world of warcraft isnt popular..

  • all you commenters shut your fucking mouths right now

  • Great video and great show, and also great MUSIC!!!

  • someone knows the title it of the song?....

  • µ-ziq - hasty boom alert

One of the best songs I have ever heard in my life lol I play it about 10 times a day minimal

  • Waahuuu - This song goes deep... 10 times at least...

  • check out the video he did for marriott!

  • he is my idol

  • does anybody know whut he does with his hands is called... it makes it look laggy

  • strobing

  • Sad part is, you don't even know what style he's doing. It's called freestyle/freeform for a reason. He's not even breaking. I've got a feeling that you're probably some roly-poly pasty white kid that's watched a few vids and you think you can do this shit. Advice? Get out of your parents house. Ya heard?

  • That right is what I call TALENT

  • elsewhere no one can move like him cause i dont think not one person on earth can move like each other cause we all have different body shapes and sizes, but elsewhere put hours each day practicing and you can tell you put hours into any dance style and people well recognize, examples mr.wiggles, salah, nam hyun joon, james brown, micheal jackson. all great dancers all hours of practice

  • This is not my favourite style of dancing, but I don't understand how some people say that is retarded, or stupid, because this is amazing. Don't look at the dancing mooves, just look at the human capabilities of this man, how can anyone do this moves? It's almost "humanly" impossible.

  • i guess your to stupid to see, that the only reason i can thind you cant see it

  • if you were really a dancer, you would understand the concepts of creativity, style, and diversity within genres... you find 1 person on this earth who can recreate elsewhere's style and let me know

  • i know what you mean, i don't have any desire to learn certain styles either but i understand the complexities in learning them etc... but in elsewhere's case he really does occupy his own style which noone has been able to mimic close to it's entirety... it can be tough to define dancing i suppose, its best to watch his performances to see him "dance" but theres no doubt acknowledging the difficulty and innovation some of his waves and legwork no matter what style of dance you enjoy

  • No you couldn't

  • yeah, you're one of thousand dancers. but he's an unique artist.

  • he's a funny looking dancer.

  • Guess what? No one cares what you think.

  • if nobody cared i wouldnt be getting so many responces.

  • Hey man - why you address people here with an aggressive invalidating feedback. Hope that you not jealous of David Elsewhere? If you do things better then him - then - please feel free to share your own video were you actually own him. And probably embrace the critique such us yours to yourself, and try to withstand it. Real artists often suffer from a flame of the spectators but the deed of the artist in the first place is worth more then any critique it ever recieve.

  • Does anyone know where this footage is from? I have the Detours 2-Disc DVD and haven't seen all of it. Just the "ticking" segment, and the "robot" segment.

I would like the whole battle, or at least all that's on this video.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • David's talent has gone ELSEWHERE

  • musics goood too loool this bloke is on u got served at the end, at the compitition! :P x

  • yes, he got discovered because of his performance at kollaboration 2001 was posted on youtube.

  • Man, I do that when I've drunk too much Tequila....

    Chief of Insecurity

  • gr8 song to go with the gr8 elsewhere :D any1 know y he wears them knee pads is it so he dusnt accidently dislocate his knees or is it just his look?

  • Elsewhere does a lot of floor work where he is sliding, spinning, or jumping off of his knees and the knee pads help him prevent injuries and make certain moves more comfortable. More b-boys and b-girls wear knee pads than people think, Elsewhere just puts them on over his pants rather than under them like most others do :-)

  • would this be considered "pop and lock" or "liquid pop"

  • Liquid Pop. If you wanna see the God of popping type Salah in search.

  • it's more like the interpretive robot...

  • HASTY BOOM ALERT

    by

    µ-Ziq

    album is

    Lunatic Harness

Yes it is the best song ever and he is the best dancer. His strobing makes my heart pound.

  • anyone know the name of this song? it fkn rocks balls please pm

  • Perhaps you should read the video description b4 asking dumb questions?

  • i found this song here on youtube a while back ago. try typing in Intelligent Dance Music or just try typing IDM

  • HE's not an good as he used to be, he used to practice more

  • your an idiot, this is an old video? LOL internet people are such morons

  • debe tener como 21 años orita no..???

  • esto es lo mejor que he visto en mucho tiempo es facinante
