can someone help me out? I'm trying to sing like cody does in this vid so like make my vocals break up when hitting a high note. Is this screaming? If I learn the same technique like fry screaming would I be able to do this? Or is this something else entirely.

he cant hit the higher notes so his voice breaks up when he tries to. all you have to do to emulate this is suck. just try to sing notes that are too high.

not fry screaming at all, just raise ur voice until it starts cracking, then push with your stomach as you do when u sing, a scream will come out

hes using light vocal fry, when you hit the higher notes as he does your voice breaks, its all to do with range

it is light fry, yes. if you learn fry you can get your voice to break as much as you want into fry while you sing
