  • 24.35 min! what a moment!!!! Arjun meets GOD KRISHNA

  • An ordinary that some princesses have a lot of lovers?

  • Not surprised now that some queens have their secret husbands?

  • Queen Derapadi has five husbands : Archun, Yudisthir, Bhim, Nakul and Sahadev?

  • Queen Kunti has five husbands : Sun God, Dhadev God, Wind God, Warrior God and King Pandu?

  • One wife with many husbands the social value of people in highest class since?

  • @ran56098 WHAT ABOUT ONE HUSBAND FIVE WIFE! DONT ACT LIKE SHIT!

  • Politics of vying power everywhere on earth now and then?

  • Go Arjuna!

  • Krishna was present to make sure that the events flow in the right direction, ie. to ensure that Draupadi marries Arjuna and NOT Karna. Else I'd have no problem in believing that Draupadi would have garlanded Karna, as she seemed quite impressed with his feat. And besides, why shouldn't she? Karna had ALL the qualities of a SUITABLE MAN (if you look at it from a woman's point of view). The only non-quality he had was that he unfortunatly had to befriend an ignorant loser like Duryodhan.

  • I just realised that Draupadi may not have really insulted Karna from her heart. She only did so b/c Krishna told her to reject him & she just HAD to find an excuse. If Draupadi really wanted to reject Karna from her heart, then she'd have said it the moment, he stood up from his seat & NOT AFTER HE PICKED UP THE BOW. From her expression, she was impressed & wondered to Krishna, if she should marry him, meaning she "initially" indeed thought of him as a suitable person, until Krishna said NO.

I've seen your postings on various episodes of this show and you make comments pretending you know the Mahabharat. But from your comments what I can decipher is that you know very little and you haven't read the epic itself. Instead, you base your trivial understanding on either hearsay, the BR Chopra's series, or childhood comics (amarchitrakatha) you read. Please find a copy of a translation of the critical edition of this great epic and read it.

  • @74tak you have worded it exactly the way i would have . i agree with you.

  • If they ever do a remake, they really need to cut down on the number of "ki jai" chantings. Gets to be a bit much at times.

  • 37:02 Arjuna seems to acknowledge Karna's prowess - I don't remember Arjuna as being that even-keeled.

  • More bullpoop: your arrogance has nothing to do with how much weight you can deadlift.

  • It seems like total bullpoop that Duryodhana - who basically had the most brute strength after bhim - couldn't lift the bow, but Arjuna (who wasn't a particularly beefy character) could.

On the other hand, you knew that Duryodhana wasn't gonna hit the target off the reflecting pool in a million years.

  • Isn't Karna Kunti's son that she placed in the basket onto the river?

  • love the music before the ending!!! lol mahabharat is full of awesome music!!

  • poor karn, it would have been OK if she had just said she doesn't want to marry karna.....not insult him by going sut-putra :( that's so mean :(

  • 24:23-24:33 gotta love that silent exchange!!! haha nothing escapes krishna!!

  • i love krishna's 'recognition' of the pandavas, and how he was watching duryodhan! also draupadi's reaction to duryodhan's failure was priceless!!!!i also love how draupadi was silently asking krishna, as if 'what should i do?'-37:38-37:41

ok i'm really loving all the looks krishna is giving everyone!!! LOL!!!

  • Karna grew up a charioteer's son but he was never that, he has always been a prince. being born in nobility whether you know it or not is proven in your character the pandavas are not perfect but they try to err to the side of right

  • Karna grew up a charioteer's son but he was never that, he has always been a prince. being born in nobility whether you know it or not is proven in your character

  • Nice raga at 21:01 .

  • It seems that Kunti by continuing a lie causes the problem with Karna. If she spoke up, she would have been forgiven, made to do a little holy work etc.---dumb Kunt--

  • Karna feels he is bound by his oath to Durydona, but come on! It depends on if the oath is virtuous! Bhisma makes a virtuous oath, but there is no special reason for Karna to side with evil except that he feels in debt... this is an error in his thinking

  • Karna's debt with Duryodhan is not a common debt. Remember Karna had been an orphan and things were never easy for him. He was as good as Arjun and yet, because of his chaste, people didn't believe in him. Even if Duryodhan offered him his friendship for convenience, he was the only one who ever did that. He recongnized his talent. On the other hand, Bishma's oath was virtous, but seen with different eyes, he supported his father's lust and damaged the nation, even if his reason was love.

  • He(Karna) didn't stay wd Pandavs thats why U guys are praising Him. and why sud He have wd Pandavs??? Pandavs claim to be most relegious and prejudice free then why nt Yudhisthir spoke up in favour of Karna's challenge to arjun in Rangbhumi?? Only bravity is the criteria not birth of a warrior then why Yudhisthir was Quite there??? i think that Karna and Arjun both were Great, no one could beat either but both have faults also.

  • o_O all the kings and princes look at Draupadi like shes a piece of meat -_- yea thats VERY respectful (bein sarcastic)

  • Why can't Karna become a noble man by his actions? After all, Mahabharat is all about free will and making one's own destiny by the path of Action. The moment Action is ignored and birth is the only measure, tragedy comes. That's what the first episodes of Mahabharat said, when King Bharat chose someone different from his own son to be the King.

For me, Karna is even braver than Arjun and THE man of action in this story, He was a charioteer's son, and yet he has achieved extraordinary deeds.

  • if only kunti had admitted that karna was her son. if she did he probably wouldn't be on da evil side :'( i actually liked him! but he should've stayed with da pandavas :(

  • In my opinion Karna shows a fatal character flaw when he joins the conspiracy (through his silence) with the wax house. he is part of a vicious murder, and he takes NO action here, just words...

that is something that none of the Pandavas would do...

  • Of course the Pandavas also take part in a conspiracy, when they keep silent to fool Dronacharya into believing that his son Ashwatama has died. None of them speaks because they want him dead. Even Yuddisthir lies in that part. Maybe we all side with the Pandavas because they are the heroes in Mahabharat, but Karna had his own reasons to side with Duryodhan. The Pandavas were very rude with him. In my opinion, no character in this story is perfectlt good or completely evil.

  • it WAS for the greater good that the Pandavas win the war AND there opponents were not always fighting fairly, therefore they had to OCCASIONALLY use a few tricks to win. however this is correct and virtuous. however Karna is consistently part of unvirtuous behaviour for which , really, there is no excuse

  • mate if pandavs had been so virtuous and good, they wouldnt need to lie to win a dharm yudh, they would win it on the basis of their truth and fightin skill, not lieing

  • I respect your argument however I see things differently to you. while it is true that at some points all characters do not 'play by the rules', I believe what must be factored in is whether your actions are for the greater good or not.

  • what was the greater good that the pandavas served by waging the war?

  • I agree with you. Reading all the epic you can understand that there is not a character completely pure, that's because of the kali yuga. Even Krishna is pretty hypocrite in all the story (but as the Supreme Lord he can do whatever he wants....)

  • @mauricello that's what i thought!!! and then i was explained that he is merely stating who he is and since it is the truth....it's not being very hypocritic, besides he is god, and he was only 'behaving' that way when he felt arjun was ready to know the truth.

  • @GiselleKan he didn't lie;he spoke the truth but krishna or the soldiers intervend with noise so only half the sentence was heard--terefore it wasn't really a lie

  • @GiselleKan he is a noble man, respected in HINDUISM!!!!!!!1

  • Ganga Putter Ki JAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
