Maybe the structure is loosely similar but aside from the outro, the riffing style and drum beats used are very different than that of Battery. @clorofilamarco You're exactly right. Barring the intro from Battery, the structure is almost identical. I've been saying it for years. Verse, chorus, short solo, verse, chorus, extended solo . . . The heavy riff that it ends on is also there in both. While I love Battery, and Metallica even more, I do enjoy this song just a little more. Does it seem almost like a blatant rip-off? Perhaps. Or a creative tribute. Regardless, it's pretty bad-ass.

Underclass hero isn't emo as some say. It's just the step from "hardcore" to a calmer style and you all miss that(as so do I) so you're making this kind of accusations.
