Uhm, and well, no wonder why they all look similar - Corpses get pale, then start turning dark due to blood clotting which can first be seen in regions of thinner skin, like lips or around the eyes. Hope that information suffices, yet you could just, as I already mentioned, have googled it.

Satan, generally, is used as a symbol for freedom, which the christian god sorely lacks. Very few bands (that I know of, anyways) actually worship Satan. Gaahl, for example practices Norse Shamanism, but still will use Satan as a symbol to get his point across.
