cvrs are really good subs, my friend has just one, and when he turns it up to about 30 it makes his whole jeep rattle, your ears start to hurt. he can play it on 10 and its still hits loud. get a ported box =p

it is a sealed enclosure. I prefer sealed just because I just prefer the cleaner sound. I wouldn't make any different considerations for this sub than I would any other sub. So choose whichever box you feel will suit your liking better.

@blowe315 I would remove the amp from the box. All of the constant vibrations will only loosen the components inside the amp therefore shortening its life. Just a tip.

The CVR def hits really hard. Its maxed out I wouldn't want to put ant more watts to it. as far as Jeremy's go we will have to compare this Saturday when we get together. With his new amp there is no doubt in my mind it will be total devastation so that should be pretty cool...
