Labs are very cute and fun dogs, but they are a big responsibility and need a lot of exercise. Plus they have a lot of ear wax and shedding. I used to own one and i miss the way she slept. The funniest thing about her was when she dreamt she made this funny sound, or when we let her outside and she used to run face first into the snow, and went into these psycho running of the bulls phases.lol

Sadly, when my parents got divorced a year ago, my father and I moved to an appartment, while my mother kept all of the pets, including my beloved lab- Lady. My mother said that she had become ill, and couldn't control her bladder or sphincter, and she gave her away.
I really feel like I missed out on closure with her...

Yeah, I know but I live in an apartment, and not only do they not allow dogs bigger than 40 pounds, but more than that, there's no yard. So I really feel like I'd be confining my pet. Until I have a better place to live, I'd have to wait.

Mojo even used to have his tongue hanging out as he slept. They are the most beautiful natured dogs ever. Mojo was so gentle and caring. I miss him SOOOOOOOOO much.
The white patch on this puppy's chest is a normal occurrence for black/chocolate colored labs, I wouldn't go by that mark to determine whether this puppy is pure bred or not. :)

@h4ste20 saying "pure black lab" doesnt make sense because labrador retreiver is one breed no matter what color they are and one litter can have more than one color. for example my lab is black but her mother is yellow and her dad is black. one pup came out yellow all of the rest were black it is the same breed of dog the only difference is the color which is affected by the ancestry but brothers and sisters can be different colors.

I have an English black lab, she is such a runt. She still sleeps like this and she is 4 years old. She snores, barks, whines and growls in her sleep, and also twitches. One time, she slept with her tongue hanging out like this, so I snuck up and gently grabbed it, and pulled it out. I got it to stay hanging out of her mouth 3 inches, and she just kept on sleeping. LOL. I woke her up when I went to get my camera.
omg that dog is huge compared to my 4 month old black lab!!! hes tiny doesnt seem to be growing!! hes called alfie and he sleeps in like a create cage thing downstairs and sometimes he snores so loud i can here him at night all the way upstairs in my rooom!!
@giamyrcv Labs are not meant for countries like Greece they are northern dogs and are suitable to Winter countries like Scandinavia or Canada. I know i used to own one. Other than that nice video.

Dogs belong, in general, whereever there is someone to love and care for them. I know of a Dingo, normally found in Australia, who now lives in Canada....and loves it there!
They don't need it. I have a 9 month old black lab and he tore through both of the dog beds that I bought for him. He has a cage with bedding, and my bed at his disposal but he prefers the floor. Dog's don't give a shit.
Well - I'm sorry your pup has ripped and shredded his soft bedding - I guess he is bored or doesn't get enough attention or have enough toys. All of my labradors have their own soft bedding and they all use it whenever they choose - of course - they get constant attention - toys and exercise - and they have since they were puppies - I suppose that is why they are tired and therefore sleeping instead of destroying when they are on their beds.
@Lonestarry For goodness sake, dogs sleep wherever they drop!! My dogs have a massive cushion bed and they still choose to sleep on the stone floor in the kitchen!! Sometimes there just too hot and wanna sleep on a nice cold floor.
judging by how these people's labs do the same thing, and as how my lab does it too, i take all labs or atleast the majority of them do it. i love labs
