Normally they will be. But turn up your ISO and take F/1,2 or something (you need an expensive lens) and shoot with good light (sun, etc.) and they won't be dark. But more than 10 fps are really useless.
Max has no idea what he's talking about. With the camera shooting at 10 FPS, the slowest shutter speed you could use would still be about 1/20th of a second (giving time for the camera's mirror to slap back down after each shot), which is slow enough even for low-light indoor photography.
Very nice, the 1.3x crop is perfect for telephoto work and the HD video is amazing too, even in low light. I could definitely see this as the basis for my next wildlife rig.
if you want to shoot fashion and commercial photography, you are best to get a 1Ds as the 1D uses a APS-H sensor and has a crop effect which means if you use a very wide angle lens then the lens is not being fully utilized.
agreed. For 'professional' use, 1D is for sports, probably sports only. and 1Ds is for everything else. Don't know why fashion commercial would need a 1D.
Great for interupting politicians:)!
