Even though, the bottom nerves are severely burned to the point that the entity cannot feel itself on the lower half doesnt mean the conjoined parts from the head to the body isn't feeling any pain. @Kirkology Well yes cooking it would have the same effect as cutting it, it would become damaged and be unable to transmit nerve signals to the brain, which is where pain is percieved. The point is that these fish are not alive at all, they just look alive because they are twitching like many dead bodies do.
