I've seen and heard this song as the opening song of the 1993 concert at the waldbühne in berlin. it was simply magic and I felt beeing in heaven. I never experienced such a moment of timeless beauty again and it reminds my at a very special chapter of my life. thx jmj
@DJB747 I think that this song is a short chronology of our lives. At the beginning of a slow awakening to the joy of life. Slow growth rate until the end of the slow withers .... ended majestic angelic singing ... maybe I'm wrong .... but I was in this way, "see" the song
contrary to appearances (el-music), these are two different artists and create a different music - you can not compare them. I love JMJ (especially earlier his activity) and I love MO especially with Maggie R.
@666767 Maybe not the BEST, but to me Jarre is unique. Many artist can fall into the same category and even sound very much alike. Jarre has done his own thing, and to me that makes him my favorite. Mike Oldfield? VERY 70's sounding when you listen to him. Jarres works from the 70's stand out and still sound good today, and not 'good' as in a nostalgic way.
kikker, we miss the strobs ...I saw jm in Omnisports this March 25th..amazing his energy, from one synth to the harp, to the synth guitar to the mellotron , to the thermin to the moog..non stop....the strobs were amazing tho....well done with your amazing channel ..real awsome :- } !!!!!

The second part (1:20-4:20) is like one BIG passionate kiss. The first part is like as if you hit a boy on a bike with your car.

So simple yet harmonically perfect. I'm learning this piece myself at the moment but stumbling with some of the quick arpeggios.
