1 AU = Earth --D-- Sun. That looks like you're saying it's equal to the distance the earth is from the sun. I thought it was the diameter of the Earth's orbit around the sun?

It's really cool to see this, but I agree it doesn't all make a ton of sense to me... But my point is.. What good does knowing it is coming do? If it hits there isn't a thing we can do about it.. Just hope your'e far enough inland the wave doesn't hit you, or that the thing doesn't hit on land... But we can watch it coming.. But unlike the movies, nothing we can do to stop something like this

No one knows the stability of this asteroid and how well it will hold together after it is pulled in many directions by gravitational forces from the earth and the moon. The directional path of asteroid 2005 YU55 can be calculated with precision. However if it begins to break apart the fragments might deviate off the predicted path and wonder straight towards earth. A deviating impact would be imminent.
So, tell me what planet is tracking with YU55 at 0:45 sec and 6:30 min. during the simulations. This is obviously there and not labeled...but is gigantic! Read between the lines?

@Greenstarkingdom I'm not a astronomer but it's seems like some diagrams for this Asteroid 2005 YU55. The Asteroid is going to come close to earth later this year. Closer that comet elenin i believe. I'm sure a qualified astronomer would be able to tell you more. :)
@Greenstarkingdom Asteroid 2005 YU55 is a 400 meter 55 million ton round asteroid that will come within 200,000 km or closer to earth closer than any thing that size has ever came since man has been on earth it is listed as a potentionaly hazordous object and it will pass though elenins debris tell no one knows what effect that will have on its orbit it could make it go further out or possibly collide with the moon or the earth if it makes and impact with the earth it will have the effect of.
@Greenstarkingdom 65000 atom bombs over a large area its not a global killer but would be an event like something we have never seen if it makes an impact in the ocean it would cause a 300ft high tsunami going out in a circle pattern in all directions away from the impact zone and would create a crater well over a mile wide lets just say this is something to keep an eye on not elenin mars gets closer than elenin does so even if elenin where a planet which its not it wouldnt do anything
