  • @yasminfufu thanks habibti ,i hope with time ,pregnancy wont scare you so much :-) and inchalah i can see you with 10 small yasminas hehe !All following you haha

  • both of you ladies are mashallah beautiful and stylish!

  • @kittycatstef thank you sister

  • Allah says in the Quran (and we say every single day)

Iyyaka Na3abadu wa Iyyaka Nasta'een (You we worship and You we ask for help)

The key word in arabic here is Iyyaka, it is Singular not plural, it really means "YOU ALONE" we worship and "YOU ALONE" we ask for help.

I have found since becoming a Muslim that many people use the eye to protect them, but if I took the eye and smashed it on the ground, it couldn't protect itself. <3 as a matter of fact I used to have one that was stolen lol

  • @ZaynabCrouse we muslims don t believe in anything that can protect beside Allah taala . wearing eye balls is just for beautification . is it haraam or is it hallal ? i think it has to do with the intentions . Allah moustaan

  • @ZaynabCrouse jazakhallah kiron sister for your insight. however, you cannot say the intention behind wearing this...that would mean you say you have forsight into our hearts..that is saying you can do something only ALLAH alone can do. I must warn you that will take you out of islam. I think tellling us if we think it is protecting us is wrong is o. but do not asume you know a persons intentions. that sister is very much a haram making your self equal to ALLAH.

  • @PatientAmericaWomen Asalaamu Alaykom Sister irregardless of the intention it is haram and leads others to the same haram.Lets say for example My father passed away and left me a cross, Would you say its okay for me to wear that cross with the intention of just wearing it out of love for my father? My intention would be purely because of my father not because I worship Jesus, Would that make a difference? When we do things we are examples, a majority of scholars agree its haram.

  • @ZaynabCrouse But for the sake of ALLAH I pray that was not your position and I pray ALLAH have mercy on us all and that he protect us all! As you said Alone- beacause is is the great, magnificant and is perfect to do it alone. May you have a blessed Ramadan!

  • @PatientAmericaWomen That was my position, I actually thought the eye would protect me, I had the Quran in my car because I was taught that if I had it the police would leave me alone and I would go to Jannah if I got into an accident, seriously this is because the Muslims I looked up to believed this way and this is what I was taught, that is why I thought, well they are very good Muslims Mash'Allah so if they are doing it it CAN'T be wrong, I didn't know their intentions then either.

  • Mash'Allah your both dressed soo cute <3 I love love love the shirt your wearing Sumaya Mash'Allah and I equally love the Tunic sister Asmaa is wearing :-D

I wanted to say regarding the jewelry and you both know I love you both for the sake of Allah so I feel comfortable in informing you of the eye bracelet, I am unsure if its haram to wear it as a decoration, or because you think its cute, but if you attribute any protection from it, it is shirk, because Allah says in the holy Quran (tbc)

  • @ZaynabCrouse jazaki lahu khairan , we don t wear it for protection ,just for beauty , though it would nt hurt to get a scholar s view on this ,because i wanna wear it for beauty but i m scared ,cause i don t know if it s ok , so if you can ask arround and let me know ,i would highly appreciate it

  • @onlinehijabstore I asked the Sheikh and he said yes even for decorations it is haram, just as wearing a cross would be haram even if it were only for decorations

Also if you think about it (and I am not comparing the two) but as an analogy if somebody drinks alcohol because they like the taste of it, but says they aren't drinking to get drunk, it doesn't make it less haram.

I am sure you are not using it as protection Mash'Allah & many sisters (including myself) look up to you as an example.

  • It is Haram and I am not making this up from the top of my head sister, I am warning you of something that can possibly take you out of Islam. I am not speaking from my nafs sister, I asked a Sheikh who has studied Islam since he was 23 (He is 74 now) and he told me that it is haram to wear it in any case. The talisman does in fact have something to do with religion, it is used by many of the Shia faith (They can concur with this) as a protection, they use the "hand of fatima" and the blue eye

  • @ZaynabCrouse selam i am sister from İstambul ...in Turkey it is called "nazar boncuk" ...they puting it everywhere ... it make me sad becouse thay use it for protection...it is pure shirk..and as a muslim you should not wear it .selam and i think you are beautiful :)

  • @ZaynabCrouse ok sister thanks ,i will get rid of it :-) jazaki lahu khairan
