i have had candied tamarind before, delicious but not my thing. some supermarkets also have tamarind juice or tamarind soda in the culture isle...i think jarrittos make it

See Daniel, Tamarind is the better of the two. Tamarind is one of, if not, my favorite tropical ingredients. Its so versatile and can be used in sweets or savories. Tamarind Soda is so damn refreshing.

i love to eat fresh tamarind... we use it to make the best sweet and sour sauce whit orange juice... its actualy a *gastrique but i got no idea how its called in english

the taste of all those caramelised flavor whit orange juice and tanarind is amazing on duck
